XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Chrysler 300C 2011-2026

The 300C is an unlikely drift weapon on paper – a 1,900kg luxury saloon with a long wheelbase and a soft factory ride – but the rear-drive LX/LD chassis, Hemi torque and sheer mass make it a spectacular angle car once the suspension stops fighting the driver. The XYZ Racing Drift Spec coilover is built for exactly that job: holding the body flat through high-speed transitions and giving you a predictable, repeatable break of grip at the rear axle.

This is a competition-focused kit. The factory dampers run out of control long before the tyres do, and on a car this heavy the body roll alone will eat your entry angle. Drift Spec replaces the entire damping and ride-height strategy so the 300C behaves like a chassis you can place on the kerb, not a sofa you wrestle into a slide.

What this coilover does for your 2011-2026 Chrysler 300C

Body control is the headline change. Drop the ride height into the proper drift window with the supplied bump stroke and the 300C’s centre of gravity finally sits where the geometry wants it – which means weight transfer happens at the rate you ask for, not half a second later. Initiation gets sharper because the rear settles instead of bobbing, and mid-corner you can hold a bigger angle without the inside-rear unloading and snapping the car straight.

Damping is matched to the heavy nose of the Hemi cars and the rearward bias that drifters actually want, so trail-braking into a long entry no longer pushes the front end wide. Bump stroke has been set deliberately to give the chassis room to load without crashing into the bumpstops mid-slide, which is where most off-the-shelf coilover kits give up on a 300C.

About the Drift Spec coilover

Drift Spec is a purpose-designed competition damper for sustained sideways work, not a fast-road kit relabelled for drifters. The damping curves and spring strategy are built around the physics of high-speed cornering at angle: the chassis needs to stabilise the body during the transition, hold attitude through the corner, and recover cleanly for the next initiation. XYZ Racing’s engineering brief here is to enhance drift performance specifically – controlling how the body loads and unloads when the rear axle is making smoke rather than grip.

The ride-height adjustment is the key tuning lever. Lowered into the correct window with the matched bump stroke, the geometry corrections that follow – roll centre, camber gain, anti-squat – all start working the way a competition chassis should. The result is a damper that takes a heavyweight saloon and gives you the level of slide control that XYZ describes as their excellent condition for drift work.

Fitment for the Chrysler 300C (2011-2026)

Designed for the second-generation Chrysler 300C (chassis CR03) covering model years 2011 through 2026. Suits both V6 and 5.7/6.4 Hemi V8 cars on the LD platform – the kit is sized for the heavier mass of the V8 variants, so V6 owners will find spring response on the firm side of neutral, which is what you want for drift duty anyway.

This suspension is designed for Drift race especially. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowing the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.
