XYZ Racing Circuit Master Coilovers — BMW 7 SERIES F01/F02 2008-2015

The F01/F02 7 Series is a 1,900kg luxury saloon that was never meant to attack a circuit, and that is precisely the problem the Circuit Master coilover is built to solve. Stock air or adaptive damping on the long-wheelbase F02 prioritises isolation over body control, which leaves the chassis floating mid-corner and wallowing under sustained braking from three-figure speeds.

The XYZ Racing Circuit Master coilover for the BMW 7 Series F01/F02 replaces that comfort-first calibration with a competition damper that has been validated on international race circuits. It is the most aggressive coilover in the XYZ range and shares its design philosophy with the Racing Spec, Drift Spec and Tarmac Rally programmes.

What this coilover does for your 2008-2015 BMW 7 Series F01/F02

Drop a 7 Series onto Circuit Masters and the car stops behaving like a limousine. Body roll through fast sweepers is reined in, the front axle bites earlier on turn-in, and the long rear overhang stops pitching under heavy brake application. With 9,720 individual adjustments available across the three knobs, you can run a stiff high-speed compression setting for stable platform under aero load while keeping low-speed compression and rebound separate enough to keep the car settled over kerbs. The trade-off is honest: this is a circuit damper, so on rough public roads you will hear the oil moving through the small adjustment passages over sharp bumps. On a billiard-smooth track surface that noise disappears.

About the Circuit Master coilover

The Circuit Master is XYZ Racing’s halo damper, sitting at the top of the range alongside the Racing Spec and Drift Spec variants and proven by XYZ teams competing internationally. Its defining feature is three independent adjustment knobs – separating low-speed compression, high-speed compression and rebound – which together yield 9,720 possible damper combinations. That granularity exists because circuit work demands different damper behaviour for kerb strikes, braking dive and mid-corner load than a single-adjustable can deliver. The small-passage oil-flow design is deliberate: it gives the damper a steeper, more controlled curve under hard compression on a smooth track surface, which is why XYZ specifies it for tarmac rally and sustained lap-time use rather than road work. Construction is built around the same hardware family used on cars that have taken outright wins in international competition.

Fitment for the BMW 7 Series (2008-2015)

This kit is built specifically for the F01 short-wheelbase and F02 long-wheelbase 7 Series, chassis reference BM123, covering the full 2008 to 2015 production run. The geometry accounts for the platform’s rear-biased weight distribution and the additional mass of the long-wheelbase variant.
