XYZ Racing Gravel Rally Coilovers — Toyota COROLLA E120/130 2001-2006

Gravel stages punish a suspension in ways tarmac never does, and the Toyota Corolla E120/130 – light, front-driven and honest at the limit – makes a sane base for a privateer rally build. These XYZ Racing Gravel Rally coilovers are built for exactly that world: loose surfaces, big compressions, and the repeated heavy impacts that flatten an ordinary road damper inside a single stage.

This is not a lowering kit pressed into rally service. The Gravel Rally damper uses an inverted-tube layout and a long-stroke design to keep the Corolla’s wheels tracking the ground over sandstone, snow and silt, where suspension travel and ride height matter far more than how low the car sits.

What this coilover does for your 2001-2006 Toyota Corolla

On a gravel-prepped E120/130, the first thing you notice is composure over ruts and crests that would have the standard struts crashing through their travel. The long stroke lets the Corolla soak up mid-corner impacts without unloading a driven front wheel, so the power goes down instead of spinning away. The inverted-tube construction places the larger-diameter tube at the top, resisting the side loads a gravel car throws at its dampers under hard direction changes and on landings. Spring rates sit on the softer, long-travel side that a loose surface rewards, keeping this lightweight front-drive chassis settled rather than skating across the surface. The upshot is a car you can commit to, with grip you can read through the wheel.

About the Gravel Rally coilover

The Gravel Rally coilover is XYZ Racing’s answer to the harshest discipline in the sport. Of all competition surfaces, rallycross and gravel stages are the most aggressive, and the shock absorber does more to decide the result here than almost any other component. To cope, XYZ Racing built an inverted-tube design that can be tuned across the full spread of loose conditions a crew meets – sandstone, snow and silt. A long stroke paired with long springs lets the suspension absorb chassis vibration, attack high-speed bouncy roads without bottoming out, and carry the extreme cornering loads a rally car generates when it is thrown hard into a turn. Every spring rate in the range has been tested by XYZ Racing’s rally team rather than estimated on paper, which is why the kit arrives suited to stage work from the outset.

Fitment for the Toyota Corolla (2001-2006)

This kit is cut for the Toyota Corolla E120/130, XYZ Racing chassis reference TO26, covering the 2001 to 2006 model years. Confirm your exact car falls inside that year span before ordering, and check it against the body style shown in the configurator below.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. In all racing events, road condition of Rally Cross is the most aggressive one. Hence, it means that the shock absorber is the most important utensil during the Rally gravel competition. We develop inverted tube design to meet each different road condition as sandstone, snow or silt. Long stroke and long spring which enable to absorb chassis vibration, aggressively attack from high speed bouncy road and bear extremely G-force when turning. All spring rate setting are tested by Rally Racing team.
