XYZ Racing Gravel Rally Coilovers — Toyota CAMRY XV30 (TYPE 1) 2002-2006

The XV30 Camry left the factory as a soft, front-heavy saloon tuned for motorway calm, which is precisely why a loose gravel stage exposes its standard damping within the first few corners. The XYZ Racing Gravel Rally coilover for the Toyota Camry XV30 (type 1) is built for the opposite environment: sandstone, snow and silt taken at pace, where the dampers do more work than any other part on the car.

This is a long-stroke, long-spring system aimed squarely at gravel-stage rally and rallycross, not a fast-road halfway house. It gives the front-drive XV30 the wheel travel and damping authority to keep the driven front axle loaded on a surface that shifts under every tyre.

What this coilover does for your 2002-2006 Toyota Camry XV30 (type 1)

The long stroke lets the suspension follow ruts, crests and ditch edges instead of skating across them, so the front tyres stay in contact and the nose-heavy XV30 actually turns in. Generous spring length soaks up the constant chassis vibration of a rough stage without packing down, and the inverted damper body resists the heat and side-load that destroy comfort struts on a gravel surface. Under hard braking into a hairpin the front end stays composed rather than diving and washing wide, and through long sweepers the setup carries serious cornering load without running out of travel. The result is a Camry that puts its power down and stays predictable when the road disappears.

About the Gravel Rally coilover

XYZ developed the Gravel Rally damper specifically for rally and rallycross, where the surface is the most punishing in motorsport and the shock absorber becomes the single most important component on the car. The inverted tube construction is designed to cope with wildly different conditions – dry sandstone, snow and soft silt – on the same set of dampers. The long stroke and long spring exist to absorb chassis vibration, attack high-speed bouncy sections, and carry the extreme G-force generated in fast corners without bottoming out. Every spring rate in the range has been tested by XYZ’s own rally racing team, so the baseline settings come from competition use rather than a catalogue. It is a focused, stage-specific tool rather than a do-everything kit.

Fitment for the Toyota Camry XV30 (type 1) (2002-2006)

This kit is matched to the Toyota Camry XV30 (type 1), chassis code TO14, covering the 2002 to 2006 model years. Confirm your exact chassis designation and build year against these details before ordering, as the XV30 ran in more than one body variant.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. In all racing events, road condition of Rally Cross is the most aggressive one. Hence, it means that the shock absorber is the most important utensil during the Rally gravel competition. We develop inverted tube design to meet each different road condition as sandstone, snow or silt. Long stroke and long spring which enable to absorb chassis vibration, aggressively attack from high speed bouncy road and bear extremely G-force when turning. All spring rate setting are tested by Rally Racing team.
