XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Toyota ALPHARD AH30 2WD/4WD 4/6 CYL 2015-2023

At 2.4 tonnes and riding on a minivan-length wheelbase, the AH30 Alphard is not the platform anyone expects to see sideways. That is precisely why XYZ Racing built the Drift Spec coilover for it: the standing suspension can’t control body roll fast enough for the weight transfer a drift line demands, and the factory ride height puts the roll centre in the wrong place the moment you get on the throttle mid-corner.

The Drift Spec kit lowers that roll centre and gives the chassis a fixed, predictable pivot point instead of the soft, wallowing one it left the factory with. For an AH30 built for competitive drifting, that difference shows up the instant you initiate – the body sets and holds its angle rather than continuing to roll after the tyres have already broken loose.

What this coilover does for your 2015-2023 Toyota Alphard AH30 2WD/4WD 4/6 CYL

Stabilising a vehicle this size through a drift entry is a body-control problem first and a grip problem second. The Drift Spec coilover addresses the first: it holds the Alphard’s body flat enough, entry to exit, that the rear end’s slip angle stays where you put it instead of drifting further than commanded. Dropping the ride height with the correct bump stroke shortens the distance the body has to travel before the suspension loads up, so the transition from grip to slide happens on your command rather than lagging behind it. On a 2WD car that means a rear axle that steps out on cue and stays there through the correction; on 4WD variants it means the front and rear ends load in a way that keeps the drive split working with the slide angle rather than fighting it. Either way, the payoff is a car that holds its angle through a full pass instead of needing constant steering correction to stop the slide widening.

About the Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing developed this suspension specifically for drift competition rather than adapting a road or circuit design. Its construction is built around stabilising the body through high-speed direction changes so the car can hold a clean, controlled angle rather than snapping or see-sawing. Ride height drops with a bump stroke calibrated for drift-specific loading, which is what lets a driver shape and hold the slide instead of just surviving it. The result, per XYZ’s own development brief, is drift control brought to what they describe as an excellent standard – angle control that stays consistent run after run rather than degrading as the car takes a beating from repeated big slides.

Fitment for the Toyota Alphard AH30 (2015-2023)

This kit is built for the AH30-generation Alphard, chassis code TO03-1, covering both 2WD and 4WD variants across the 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder engine range for the 2015-2023 model years. Confirm your drivetrain configuration and engine variant against your V5C or chassis plate before ordering, as the AH30 range spans multiple drivetrain and engine combinations under one body code.

This suspension is designed for Drift race especially. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowing the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.
