XYZ Racing Pro Racing Gravel/Snow Coilovers — Subaru BRZ 2021-2026

The ZD8 BRZ’s FA24-engined, rear-wheel-drive platform is a serious proposition for loose-surface competition – compact, well-balanced, and sitting on a chassis with near-50/50 weight distribution before you strip weight for a stage car. Standard road dampers run out of travel on gravel crests and compress hard on snow stages; the Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilovers are built for exactly those conditions, where suspension stroke and thermal stamina matter far more than kerb-to-kerb street comfort.

XYZ Racing’s Pro Racing Gravel/Snow kit extends travel at both axles, giving the ZD8 the buffer it needs over broken surfaces without unsettling the chassis balance that makes the BRZ such a capable foundation for rally and rallycross competition.

What this coilover does for your 2021-2026 Subaru BRZ

Longer stroke front and rear keeps the suspension composed through the compression spikes that tarmac-spec dampers simply run dry on. The increased oil volume and nitrogen gas charge address the heat build-up that accumulates across a full stage or repeated rallycross heats – damping stays consistent where a standard shock would be fading well before the finish. Three-way adjustment lets you alter damping character between gravel, snow, and rough-road stages without stripping down the corner assembly. On the ZD8 platform, where the stiffer bodyshell transmits surface inputs more directly than the outgoing ZN6, that calibration range has a genuine effect on how the rear rotates under trail-braking into loose corners.

About the Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover

Designed from the outset for rally racing and rallycross, this damper extends both front and rear suspension travel to create the buffer distance needed to keep a car stable across broken, unpredictable surfaces. The internals carry a larger oil reservoir and an increased nitrogen gas charge compared with standard-length units – the combination manages heat across sustained use, where overheated shock fluid produces fade and drift in damping response. Three separate adjustment knobs give driver or engineer independent control over damping character without needing to remove the damper from the car. The small-orifice oil passage that enables this fine adjustment does produce a faint mechanical noise over large compressions – this is normal operation, not a fault, and reflects the same design logic that keeps the valving consistent across wide temperature swings. The assembly is built to take repeat punishment on loose-surface stages.

Fitment for the Subaru BRZ (2021-2026)

This kit is listed for the second-generation Subaru BRZ under chassis code SU24, covering the 2021 to 2026 model years. All body styles within this generation share the ZD8 platform and the same MacPherson strut front, double-wishbone rear suspension architecture.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. With longer travel for both front and rear, it increases bigger buffer distance to keep the car stable. The most advantages of this product is to extend the amount of suspension oil and nitrogen gas which can increase the stability of the shocks and prevent the shock oil temperature too high from being exhausted after long-term use.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.

  • Hardened rubber top mountHardened rubberRHardened rubber upper — firmer than the factory bush for tighter response while retaining road-friendly noise and vibration isolation.

Rear

  • Aluminium top mountAluminiumAAluminium upper mount — a stiff, lightweight housing that locates the damper precisely and resists flex under load.
