XYZ Racing Top Sport Coilovers — Lexus GS 200t/250/350 (L10) 2012-2026

The L10 GS arrived in 2012 as Lexus’s most driver-focused saloon in a generation, built on a rear-wheel-drive platform with genuine capability – then fitted with suspension settings that prized hushed motorway cruising over dynamic feedback. The 200t, 250, and 350 all share that luxury bias: long travel, modest spring rates, and damping calibrated to insulate the cabin rather than communicate the road.

The Top Sport coilover addresses that directly. Running 30 to 50 per cent more damping force, or up to 2 kg/mm more spring rate than a standard street setup, this kit is calibrated for GS owners who want the L10’s capable rear-drive chassis to perform at a track day without turning the commute home into an endurance test.

What this coilover does for your 2012-2026 Lexus GS 200t/250/350 (L10)

The factory spring rates leave the L10 body moving too freely under lateral load – the kind of movement that blurs steering feel and delays the moment at which you can confidently apply throttle and lean on the rear axle. Firmer springs tighten that platform, so the car communicates more honestly and the driver can manage weight transfer with greater precision.

The damping uplift – up to 50 per cent above street spec – suppresses secondary bounce after large road inputs: expansion joints, kerbs, and the kind of surface variation that unsettles a corner entry at speed. Tyre contact improves as a result, and the 350’s 3.5-litre V6 has more consistent ground beneath it on acceleration out of slower bends. On the 200t, where the turbocharged four’s weight sits more noticeably over the nose, the uprated front damping sharpens initial turn-in in a way the factory setup never quite managed.

Height adjustment brings the GS stance into line with the more aggressive visual that the F Sport body kit implies but the standard suspension doesn’t deliver.

About the Top Sport coilover

The Top Sport occupies the track-day position in XYZ Racing’s coilover range – more committed than a pure road setup, less extreme than a dedicated competition-only kit. Spring rates run up to 2 kg/mm above street specification; damping runs 30 to 50 per cent higher, suppressing the rebound oscillation that softer factory setups produce over rippled track surfaces. That combination keeps the tyre contact patch more consistently loaded through fast direction changes and over the broken tarmac typical of UK club circuits.

Settings are drawn from XYZ Racing’s motorsport testing programme and applied here to a specification that remains road-legal and daily-driveable. The coilover absorbs the jolt of a large bump on the way to the circuit without complaint, while controlling body movement on transitions, improving traction over uneven surfaces, and allowing the L10 platform to deliver the chassis feedback it was always capable of but factory tune consistently suppressed.

Fitment for the Lexus GS 200t/250/350 (L10) (2012-2026)

This kit covers the L10 platform across all three engine variants – the 200t, 250, and 350 – across the full 2012 to 2026 production run. All three share the same rear-wheel-drive underpinnings, so a single fitment serves the range. Confirm your chassis code as L10 before ordering.
