XYZ Racing Drag Racing Coilovers — Lexus GS 200t/250/350 (L10) 2012-2026

The L10 GS rolled out of Lexus tuned to glide – long wheelbase, soft compliant damping, and a kerb weight north of 1,700kg that the factory never intended to launch hard. Point a GS 350 and its 3.5-litre V6 at a quarter mile and that comfort calibration becomes the problem: the nose lifts, the rear squats unevenly, and the driven tyres scrabble before they bite.

The XYZ Racing Drag Racing coilover for the Lexus GS 200t/250/350 (L10) exists to control that first second. It is set up specifically for standing-start acceleration, managing how weight shifts onto the rear axle so the driven wheels load up and hook instead of lighting up. This is a launch tool, not a fast-road compromise.

What this coilover does for your 2012-2026 Lexus GS 200t/250/350 (L10)

Off the line, the difference is traction you can feel through the seat. The damping is configured to let the GS transfer load rearward at the hit, compressing the driven tyres into the tarmac so they cut the idle moment of wheelspin that costs you the first sixty feet. Ride height comes down, dropping the centre of gravity on a tall executive saloon and steadying the body as the V6 comes on cam. Through the traps, the same setup keeps the car planted and stable at speed rather than floating the way the OEM springs do. For a GS being run as a strip car, it turns an unlikely drag platform into something you can repeat.

About the Drag Racing coilover

XYZ Racing builds the Drag Racing series around a single job: the 0 to 400 metre run. The kit is offered across drivetrain layouts – front, rear and four-wheel drive – and on the rear-drive L10 GS that means a calibration tuned to shove weight onto the back axle the instant you launch. The core idea is deliberate weight bias: the damping lets the chassis pitch its mass toward the driven wheels during the initial drive phase, forcing those tyres into greater compression and a bigger contact patch. More compression means less of the wheel spinning uselessly and more of the engine’s torque turned into forward movement. At the far end of the run, the same valving works to hold the car steady as terminal speed climbs, so high-speed stability is part of the brief rather than an afterthought. It is a focused, single-purpose coilover, not a do-everything fast-road kit.

The coilovers are specially designed for 0~400 drag racing such as FWD, RWD or 4WD models. The setting allows vehicle to change the front and rear weight according to the transmission wheel in instant driving, and force the transmission tire having greater compression, which can reduce the idle time of wheel and improve the stability of the vehicle under high speed.
