XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Infiniti EX35 4WD (Modified Rear Integrated) 2007-2012

The EX35’s 4WD variant was never meant to slide – Infiniti built the drivetrain to shove torque forward and correct the car back onto line, which is the opposite of what a drift car needs from its rear end. The Drift Spec coilover exists to fight that instinct, giving the rear axle the geometry and body control to hold an angle instead of correcting out of it.

This is the "Modified Rr Integrated" fitment, meaning the rear mounting hardware has been re-engineered specifically for the EX35 4WD’s multi-link rear rather than adapted from the RWD FX/G-platform siblings. That distinction matters on a crossover this heavy – get the rear geometry wrong and the extra mass works against you the moment the car steps out.

What this coilover does for your 2007-2012 Infiniti EX35

Drop the ride height correctly with the bump stroke set for the EX35’s weight, and the car’s body roll during high-speed transitions tightens up noticeably – the crossover stops leaning through the entry and holds its line into the turn, which is what lets you set an angle on purpose rather than react to one. That stability under lateral load is the whole point: a car that pitches and rolls mid-slide is a car you’re constantly correcting, not driving. With the geometry sorted for this specific 4WD fitment, the rear end tracks predictably as you feed in throttle, so the transition from grip to slide happens where you put it, not where the chassis decides. For a car this size and this weight, that predictability is what separates a controlled drift from a moment you’re just surviving.

About the Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing built the Drift Spec range around one job: keeping the car’s body settled while the rear end is doing something the chassis wasn’t designed for. The design focuses on stabilising the vehicle under high-speed cornering loads so the driver can hold a consistent angle rather than fight constant weight transfer. Ride height reduction is paired with a bump stroke calibrated for control at the limit, not just a lower stance – the two work together to sharpen how the car responds once it’s sideways. For a 4WD platform like the EX35, that calibration is what makes the difference between a car that drifts on command and one that fights every input.

Fitment for the Infiniti EX35 4WD (Modified Rr Integrated) (2007-2012)

Built for the Infiniti EX35 4WD, chassis code IN17, covering the 2007 to 2012 production run. This is the Modified Rr Integrated variant, engineered around the 4WD rear subframe and mounting points rather than a straight RWD carryover – confirm your EX35 is the 4WD variant before ordering.

This suspension is designed for Drift race especially. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowing the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.
