XYZ Racing Circuit Master Coilovers — Ford FOCUS HATCHBACK (Rear Multi-Link Suspension) Modified Rear Integrated (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2019-2026

The Focus Hatchback’s multi-link rear end, carried through the 2019-2026 range, was set up at the factory to work with a continuously variable electronic damper – fine for road duty, but a compromise the moment you start stacking laps and the software starts hunting for a setting that suits everything at once. XYZ Racing’s Circuit Master coilover strips that compromise out entirely. This kit includes the cancellation hardware needed to remove the Focus’s electronic damping control from the loop, so the car runs on a fixed, manually adjustable damper instead of a system trying to guess what you need corner to corner.

That matters most in sustained circuit lap-time work, where a damper has to hold its setting through heat cycles and repeated hard inputs rather than recalibrating itself lap after lap. With the electronics out of the picture, what you dial in at the start of a session is what you get for the whole session.

What this coilover does for your 2019-2026 Ford Focus Hatchback

Fit the Circuit Master and the multi-link rear axle stops fighting the front end’s mid-corner rotation, because the damping rates front and rear are finally set by you rather than an ECU averaging things out. Ride height drops to a level that lowers the centre of gravity and tightens weight transfer under braking into corners, and the coilover housings let you correct that geometry as camber changes with the lower stance. The 9720-position adjustment range across the kit’s three damper knobs means you can separate compression and rebound behaviour enough to stop the Focus diving on turn-in without going harsh over kerbs, which is the usual trade-off on a fast-road Focus running stock dampers. Because the setting holds instead of drifting with an electronic system’s own logic, braking feel into hairpins stays consistent from the first lap to the last.

About the Circuit Master coilover

The Circuit Master sits at the top of XYZ Racing’s range, developed and run by XYZ’s own racing teams across a number of circuit disciplines before it reaches a road car. Each damper carries three external adjustment knobs feeding a small-orifice oil circuit, which is what gets that 9720-way adjustment range out of a single unit rather than relying on spring changes alone to retune the car. That small-passage design is also why you may hear a faint noise from the damper over sharp kerbs or track surface joints – it’s the oil moving through the narrow circuit doing its job, not a fault, and it’s a known characteristic of running this level of adjustment resolution on circuit surfaces. Construction is monotube, chosen specifically for the heat dissipation and fade resistance a damper needs when it’s doing repeated hard work rather than a single quick input. This is the tier built for drivers who are actually turning laps, not just lowering the car for looks.

Fitment for the Ford Focus Hatchback (2019-2026)

This kit is engineered for the Ford Focus Hatchback fitted with the multi-link rear suspension, chassis code FO27-C, across the 2019-2026 model range. It’s the Modified Rr Integrated configuration bundled with the cancellation kit for the factory electronic damping system, so it’s intended specifically for Focus models built with that adaptive damper hardware rather than the passive-damper base cars.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
