XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Ferrari 458 / 458 Spider (with hydraulic lift, excl.control system) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2010-2015

Putting a 458 sideways on purpose is a particular kind of commitment. The flat-plane V8 sits low and behind you, the front axle is light, and the factory magnetorheological dampers were tuned for circuit precision rather than sustained angle work. The XYZ Racing Drift Spec coilover for the Ferrari 458 and 458 Spider replaces that electronic setup wholesale, with a cancellation kit included so the dash stops complaining the moment you unplug the originals.

This is not a fast-road kit pressed into drift duty. It is a discipline-specific suspension built around what the 458 does under entry transition – a mid-engined chassis that wants to pivot fast and then needs the rear loaded confidently for the hold. Hydraulic-lift cars from 2010-2015 get their own part number here because the front strut tops have to clear the nose-lift cylinders.

What this coilover does for your 2010-2015 Ferrari 458 / 458 Spider

Lower the 458 onto its bump stroke properly and the chassis stops fighting you. Front-end grip arrives on demand for the initial flick, weight transfers cleanly to the outside rear, and the car holds an angle instead of snapping straight at the apex. Spring rates and damper valving are set for the loads a drift car actually sees – heavy compression on initiation, controlled rebound when you swing back the other way – rather than the small inputs of a circuit lap. Ride height adjustment lets you set the stance to match your tyre choice and the camber you can pull from the factory arms. The cancellation kit handles the electronic-damping dash codes so the install is a clean swap rather than a wiring project.

About the Drift Spec coilover

XYZ developed the Drift Spec specifically for competitive drifting, and the construction reflects that single-purpose brief. Geometry and valving are engineered to stabilise the body during high-speed cornering transitions – the moment between initiation and hold where most kits go vague – and to give the driver clean control over the angle being carried. Lowering the ride height with a properly matched bump stroke is central to how the kit works: it shifts the roll centre and tightens the platform so steering input translates to body response without the lag of a road-biased damper. Compared to circuit-spec coilovers in the XYZ range, the Drift Spec runs valving tuned for sustained sideways loads and the abrupt direction changes of tandem work. It is a tool for drivers who already know what they want the car to do and need the suspension to stop getting in the way.

Fitment for the Ferrari 458 / 458 Spider (2010-2015)

This kit is fitted to the FE06-C chassis 458 and 458 Spider built 2010-2015, specifically the variants equipped from the factory with hydraulic nose lift but without the active control system on the dampers. The cancellation kit for the electronic damping is included in the box. If your car has the full active suspension control hardware, check the alternative FE06 part numbers before ordering.

This suspension is designed for Drift race especially. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowing the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.
