XYZ Racing Circuit Master Coilovers — Ferrari 458 / 458 Spider (with hydraulic lift, excl.control system) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2010-2015

The 458’s factory magnetorheological damping was a marvel in 2010, but it’s also the limiting factor when you start hunting consistent lap times at Donington or Spa. The Ferrari’s mid-engined balance is exquisite on the road, yet the OEM electronic dampers heat-soak after a handful of hard laps and start hunting for a setting they can’t quite find. The Circuit Master is built for owners who’ve decided the next session matters more than the magneride.

This coilover ships with the electronic damping cancellation kit, which is the part most 458 owners get wrong when they shop overseas-market kits. Pair that with the hydraulic-lift compatibility note in the fitment data and you have a setup that works with the car’s nose-lift system rather than fighting it on every speed bump out of the paddock.

What this coilover does for your 2010-2015 Ferrari 458 / 458 Spider

The Circuit Master replaces the magneride hardware entirely, which is the only honest way to extract repeatable lap pace from a 458. The 9720 individual damper settings let you separate high-speed compression from low-speed rebound the way the chassis actually wants – fronts firmer for the 458’s keen turn-in, rears settled to keep the rear axle planted through Eau Rouge or Paddock Hill Bend. Spring rates are matched to the car’s 1,565 kg dry weight rather than a generic Italian-supercar template, so the front-end response stays linear under trail-braking instead of crashing into the bump stops. On the Spider you’ll feel the cowl shake settle too, because the chassis stops trying to compensate for an electronic system that’s already given up.

About the Circuit Master coilover

The Circuit Master sits at the top of the XYZ Racing competition range, alongside the Drift Spec and Tarmac Rally configurations. The hardware has been proven across international circuit programmes by XYZ teams, and the design brief is uncomplicated: sustained pace over a race distance, not a single hot lap. The three independent adjustment knobs give you 9720 distinct damper settings across compression and rebound, with a small-orifice oil passage that’s tuned for circuit surface inputs rather than rough public roads. That orifice design produces a faint metering noise over sharp impacts – sleeping policemen, kerb strikes at low speed – which is a function of the geometry, not a fault. On a billiard-smooth circuit it is silent. Construction is the proper inverted-monotube layout you’d expect at this price point, with the kit specified specifically for the FE06-C chassis and the 458’s hydraulic lift system left functional.

Fitment for the Ferrari 458 / 458 Spider (2010-2015)

This kit is built for the FE06-C chassis spanning the 2010-2015 production run, covering both the Berlinetta and Spider. The supplied hardware includes the cancellation harness for the factory electronic damping system and is compatible with cars fitted with the hydraulic nose-lift (excluding the lift control module itself). Confirm your car’s options before ordering.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
