XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Dodge CHARGER 2011-2026

The LX/LD Charger is a heavy, long-wheelbase rear-driver with a Hemi over the front axle and a live-feeling weight transfer that punishes ham-fisted inputs the moment you ask it to step out. That mass is exactly what makes the platform compelling for drift work – once you have it pivoted, the inertia carries the angle – but it is also why a stock LX damper runs out of control authority halfway through a transition. The XYZ Racing Drift Spec coilover for the Dodge Charger is built to answer that specific problem.

This is the spec XYZ Racing develops for competitive drifting, not a fast-road kit with stiffer springs. The body-control behaviour, ride-height drop and bump-stroke geometry are tuned so the Charger settles into angle predictably under high-speed entries and holds it cleanly through transitions.

What this coilover does for your 2011-2026 Dodge Charger

The Drift Spec changes how a Charger behaves the instant you commit to a corner. Stabilising the body through high-speed entries means the rear axle plants when you initiate, instead of the chassis loading diagonally and then snapping past the angle you wanted. Lowering the ride height with the correct bump stroke cleans up the geometry across the front axle, sharpens turn-in response on a car that normally telegraphs its weight, and gives the steering rack something to actually work against. Damping authority is the bit you feel most: mid-drift corrections become small steering inputs rather than throttle saves, and second-gear transitions stop feeling like you are wrestling the car between two states. The result is a Charger you can hold at angle on purpose, not by accident.

About the Drift Spec coilover

The Drift Spec is engineered specifically for drift competition, not adapted from a circuit kit. The geometry of the damper, the spring rates and the bump-stroke window are all chosen to keep a heavy rear-driver composed when it is sideways at speed, and to give the driver a usable window of control through the slip angle. XYZ Racing’s brief with this spec is straightforward – make high-speed entries stable, make transitions clean, make the angle controllable. Lowering the ride height is part of the design rather than a side effect: the kit assumes you will drop the car, and the bump stroke is set up so that drop does not cost you suspension travel where you need it. After install and ride-height set, the controlling feel through a drift is where this kit earns its name.

Fitment for the Dodge Charger (2011-2026)

This kit is built for the LX/LD-platform Charger, chassis code DO08, covering the 2011 through 2026 model years. That spans the full second-generation Charger run including the facelift cars. Confirm your model year falls inside that window before ordering.

This suspension is designed for Drift race especially. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowing the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.
