The F10 5 Series xDrive arrived from the factory with Dynamic Damper Control wired into the chassis, which is part of the reason a stock 535i xDrive feels so composed on a B-road and so utterly numb on a circuit. The Circuit Master coilover for the 2010-2017 F10 4WD is the answer for owners who have decided the electronic damping has to go, and it ships configured with the cancellation kit needed to silence the EDC error codes the moment the original struts come off the car.
This is not a fast-road kit pretending to be a track kit. The Circuit Master is the spec XYZ Racing builds for sustained lap-time work, and on a 1,800kg-plus all-wheel-drive saloon that load case matters more than it does on a lighter platform.
What this coilover does for your 2010-2017 Bmw 5 Series F10 4WD
The F10 xDrive carries serious mass over the front axle, and on a stock setup the nose dives, the rear squats under power out of slow corners, and the chassis pitches between phases of a lap. Dropping the EDC struts for the Circuit Master kit pulls the body motion back under control and gives the front tyres a fighting chance of staying loaded through long, fast bends like Druids or Paddock. The 9720 individual damping settings sound like marketing maths until you realise the point is granularity – you can separate low-speed body control from high-speed kerb absorption, then trim rebound independently, which is how you stop a heavy 4WD saloon from skating wide on corner exit. The cancellation kit removes the EDC dashboard fault the moment the originals come out, so there is no half-finished install and no warning lights staring back at you on the way to the circuit. Ride height comes down, the front-rear rake is yours to set, and the car finally feels like it is pivoting around its centre rather than its bonnet.
About the Circuit Master coilover
The Circuit Master sits at the top of XYZ Racing’s competition ladder, alongside the Racing Spec, Drift Spec and Tarmac Rally builds, and it has been developed and signed off against XYZ’s own race programmes on international circuits. The defining feature is the 9720-way adjustment range, delivered through three separate adjustment knobs that split damping control into independent axes rather than the single compression-rebound dial you find on most road coilovers. Construction uses a small-orifice oil-passage design optimised for the smooth, repeatable surfaces of a race track, which is why XYZ are upfront that on big road bumps the oil moving through the smaller passages can produce an audible note – it is a deliberate trade-off for circuit performance, not a fault. The kit is built for tarmac competition use and has been validated by XYZ race teams running across multiple international series. Spring rates, damper valving and the three-way adjuster geometry are all set up around the demands of repeated full-pace laps rather than weekly commuting.
Fitment for the Bmw 5 Series F10 4WD (2010-2017)
This kit is built specifically for the F10 5 Series in xDrive (4WD) configuration, chassis code BM85-C, across the full 2010 to 2017 production run. It includes the cancellation kit required for cars originally specified with Electronic Damping Control (EDC), so the dashboard fault is suppressed once the OEM struts are removed.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
Top mounts included with your kit
Every XYZ Racing coilover kit ships with the upper mounts listed below for your exact chassis — no extra parts to source.
