XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — BMW 4 SERIES F83 M4 (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2014-2020

The F83 M4’s folding hard-top puts mass high up and behind the rear axle, and that is exactly the variable a drift setup has to manage – body movement at the instant you commit to angle. XYZ Racing’s Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover for the BMW 4 Series F83 M4 is built around that problem, holding the chassis composed through fast direction changes so the S55’s torque does the talking instead of the suspension’s slop.

This is the version supplied with the cancellation kit for the M4’s electronic damping, so pulling the factory adaptive dampers won’t leave you chasing EDC fault lights. It is a circuit and competition tool first: set the ride height, set the bump stroke, and the car settles into a platform you can read.

What these coilovers do for your 2014-2020 BMW 4 Series F83 M4

Drop the ride height with proper bump stroke and the F83 stops floating mid-corner – weight transfer becomes something you trigger deliberately rather than something the car does to you. The three adjustment knobs let you tune damping to suit a grippy circuit or a low-grip skid pad, so the rear breaks away predictably and holds the slip angle you ask of it. Up front, a firmer, controlled platform sharpens turn-in and steering response, which matters on a convertible carrying extra weight along its length. The result on a 2014-2020 4 Series M4 is a car you can lean on at the limit and place on instinct.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

The Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover is engineered specifically for competitive drifting, not adapted from a fast-road kit. Its design priority is body stability during high-speed cornering – keeping the chassis settled at the exact point you want to set a clean, sustained angle. Lowering the ride height while preserving usable bump stroke is central to how it sharpens drift control. Damping runs through three adjustment knobs, and the internals use a small oil-hole design: over large bumps the oil is forced through a narrow passage, which can produce a faint noise. That is normal behaviour, not a fault – the kit is built for the surface of a circuit, where sharp bumps are not part of the equation. Treat it as a track and competition setup rather than a comfort-led road conversion.

Fitment for the BMW 4 Series F83 M4 (2014-2020)

This kit fits the BMW 4 Series F83 M4 – the convertible chassis – across the 2014-2020 production run. It ships in the configuration that includes the electronic damping cancellation kit, so it works on cars originally specified with adaptive M suspension. Confirm your build year and factory damper setup before ordering.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
