XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — BMW 4 SERIES F32 4/6 CYL (excl. M-Technik. xDrive & EDC) 2013-2026

The F32’s turbocharged four- and six-cylinder BMW engines sit well ahead of the front axle, and on the standard suspension that nose-heavy stance resists the throttle-on rotation a drift car needs at corner entry. XYZ Racing’s Drift Spec coilover kit for the BMW 4 Series F32 4/6 CYL (excl. M-Technik, xDrive & EDC) (2013-2026) is built to counter that, sharpening the chassis’ response to weight transfer so the rear end breaks loose on the driver’s terms rather than the car’s.

For anyone running this RWD F32 in competitive drifting, the kit’s job is body control through the transition – keeping the car flat and settled as the driver initiates, holds, and corrects an angle, instead of pitching and rolling through it.

What this coilover kit does for your 2013-2026 BMW 4 Series F32 4/6 CYL (excl. M-Technik, xDrive & EDC)

Drop the ride height correctly on this kit and the F32’s centre of gravity comes down exactly where it matters for drift work: the moment grip turns into slide. Reduced body roll means less weight shifting onto the outside front tyre mid-turn, so the rear stays lighter and easier to bring around with throttle rather than needing a big scandinavian flick to break it loose. Stiffer damping keeps the car settled while the driver catches and holds an angle, instead of wallowing through the correction. Because this fitment excludes M-Technik, xDrive and EDC cars, the kit is matched purely to the standard RWD F32 platform, with no need to work around all-wheel-drive torque split or factory adaptive dampers – so ride height and damping response stay consistent from run to run.

About the Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing built the Drift Spec line specifically around competition drifting rather than adapting a road or circuit kit for the job. The core aim is body stability during high-speed direction changes – controlling chassis movement well enough that the driver can hold a precise, repeatable angle instead of fighting the car for it. Ride height drops as part of the setup, and the kit is calibrated around a specific bump stroke so that lowering the car doesn’t eat into the travel needed for weight transfer under load. XYZ Racing’s own testing points to markedly tighter drift control once the kit is set to the correct height, with the car answering steering and throttle inputs mid-slide rather than needing correction after the fact. On the F32 platform specifically, that means damping and spring rates suited to a RWD coupe carrying either four-cylinder or six-cylinder engine weight over the front axle.

Fitment for the BMW 4 Series F32 4/6 CYL (excl. M-Technik, xDrive & EDC) (2013-2026)

This kit is specified for the BMW 4 Series F32, chassis code BM75-8, across the 2013 to 2026 model years, covering both four-cylinder and six-cylinder variants. It’s built for the standard RWD platform only – M-Technik cars, xDrive all-wheel-drive cars, and EDC electronic-damping cars sit outside this fitment and need a different spec.

This suspension is designed for Drift race especially. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowing the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.
