XYZ Racing Pro Racing Gravel/Snow Coilovers — BMW 3 SERIES G20 (2WD/4WD) 4/6 CYL (Modified Rear Integrated) 2018-2026

The G20 3 Series splits into two very different cars depending on which axle is driving: RWD models that step sideways the moment a loose surface lets go, and xDrive cars that bite hard but load the front axle heavily through a rutted section. XYZ Racing’s Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover is built around that split, using a modified rear-integrated mount so the rear geometry stays consistent whichever drivetrain sits under your G20.

Extended front and rear travel gives both axles somewhere to go when the road surface disappears under snow, gravel or a badly cambered stage, while the enlarged oil and nitrogen charge keeps damper temperatures in check over a long run rather than a single warm-up lap. This is a rally and rallycross-focused build for the 2018-2026 BMW 3 Series G20, not a smooth-tarmac trackday setup.

What this coilover does for your 2018-2026 BMW 3 Series G20 (2WD/4WD) 4/6 CYL (Modified Rr Integrated)

The 3 adjustment knobs let you separate low-speed compression from rebound, so an RWD G20 can be set softer at the rear to manage weight transfer under power on loose surfaces, while an xDrive car can carry more front-end support without losing the plant needed for hard braking into a junction. The extra suspension travel matters as much as the damping curve here: it stops the axle from topping or bottoming out when a wheel drops into a rut or crosses a snow bank mid-corner, which keeps the chassis settled rather than deflected off line. Ride height adjustment buys clearance over rally-spec ruts and kerbing without resorting to softer springs that would otherwise sag the car under the extra unsprung movement a loose surface demands. Because the modified rear-integrated mount is matched to the G20’s multi-link rear, camber and toe stay within a usable range through the full travel range rather than just at static ride height.

About the Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover

This coilover is built primarily for rally and rallycross use rather than tarmac circuits, and the longer front and rear travel is the main reason why: it gives the car a bigger buffer before the suspension runs out of movement, which keeps the platform stable when the surface underneath changes without warning. The larger oil and nitrogen volume is the second half of that brief, extending the amount of fluid and gas in the damper so it doesn’t overheat and fade after sustained hard use on a stage or special. The 3 adjustment knobs use a small oil-hole design to fine-tune compression and rebound independently, and on sharper bumps this can produce a faint noise through the damper body as oil passes through the smaller passage. That’s a by-product of the tuning range on offer, not a fault, and it’s been carried through from XYZ Racing’s circuit-track versions of the same design, which are engineered to shrug off high-frequency bumps without transmitting them into the chassis.

Fitment for the Bmw 3 Series G20 (2WD/4WD) 4/6 CYL (Modified Rr Integrated) (2018-2026)

Built for chassis code BM107, covering both 2WD and xDrive (4WD) G20 3 Series cars across 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder engine options from 2018 to 2026. The kit uses a modified rear-integrated mounting arrangement specific to this fitment, so confirm your car matches the BM107 code before ordering.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. With longer travel for both front and rear, it increases bigger buffer distance to keep the car stable. The most advantages of this product is to extend the amount of suspension oil and nitrogen gas which can increase the stability of the shocks and prevent the shock oil temperature too high from being exhausted after long-term use.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.

Top mounts included with your kit

Every XYZ Racing coilover kit ships with the upper mounts listed below for your exact chassis — no extra parts to source.

Front

  • Pillow ball + rubber top mountPillow ball + rubberP+Pillow-ball upper with a rubber insert — adds steering precision and camber adjustability while keeping some of the factory mount’s harshness damping.
  • Hardened rubber top mountHardened rubberRHardened rubber upper — firmer than the factory bush for tighter response while retaining road-friendly noise and vibration isolation.

Rear

  • Aluminium top mountAluminiumAAluminium upper mount — a stiff, lightweight housing that locates the damper precisely and resists flex under load.
