XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — BMW 3 SERIES F80 M3 (Modified Rear Integrated) 2014-2018

The F80 M3’s S55 straight-six puts enough torque through the rear axle that the standard adaptive dampers were never built to hold an angle, not a line. Once you’re past the point of trail-braking into a corner and into deliberately unsettling the rear, the factory geometry runs out of usable travel before your right foot runs out of ideas.

The Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover is built around that exact failure point. It’s the fitment for F80 M3s already running the modified rear-integrated setup that drift-focused owners use to free up the rear end, and it’s tuned to work with that geometry rather than fight it.

What this coilover brings to your build

The 3-way adjustment knobs let you separate low-speed compression from rebound, which matters more on this chassis than most – the F80’s weight transfers hard onto the outside front tyre on turn-in, and getting the rear to rotate cleanly depends on how quickly the dampers release load once you’re sideways. Lowering the ride height through proper bump stroke changes the roll centre and sharpens the initial yaw response, which is what lets you find and hold an angle rather than snapping into one. The small-oil-hole internal design is a deliberate trade: it controls damping force precisely enough for competition-level angle work, at the cost of some noise transmission over sharp bumps. On a circuit-focused drift car, that’s the right side of the trade to be on.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

This coilover was engineered specifically around drift racing rather than adapted from a road or circuit-lapping design. The core job is stabilising the car’s body during high-speed, high-angle cornering so the driver can hold a clean, consistent line through the turn rather than fighting body movement mid-slide. Three external adjustment knobs give separate control over the damping circuit, routed through a small-oil-hole passage that sharpens response at the cost of some audible noise when the car crosses rough sections of track – an expected characteristic of this internal layout, not a fault. Ride height is set through the bump stroke, and getting that stroke right is what unlocks the sharper drift control this kit is built for. It’s built for circuit and drift-event surfaces, where consistent damping response under sustained lateral load matters more than outright ride comfort.

Fitment for the Bmw 3 Series F80 M3 (Modified Rr Integrated) (2014-2018)

This kit is specced for the BM104 chassis code covering the 2014-2018 F80 M3, in the modified rear-integrated configuration used on drift-prepped cars. Confirm your car matches this rear-end specification before ordering, as standard-subframe F80 M3s use a different fitment.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.

  • Hardened rubber top mountHardened rubberRHardened rubber upper — firmer than the factory bush for tighter response while retaining road-friendly noise and vibration isolation.

Rear

  • Aluminium top mountAluminiumAAluminium upper mount — a stiff, lightweight housing that locates the damper precisely and resists flex under load.
