XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — BMW 3 SERIES F31 4/6 CYL (excl. M-Technik. xDrive & EDC) 2011-2026

The F31 Touring carries more weight over its rear axle than the F30 saloon, and that shifts exactly what a rear-wheel-drive 3 Series needs when it’s held sideways through a long sweeper. The XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover kit is built for that job specifically, replacing the factory EDC electronic dampers with fixed, mechanically adjustable units so the car’s weight transfer stays consistent slide after slide instead of being smoothed over by an adaptive damper computer.

Ride height comes down and bump stroke is set by hand, which is exactly how a car destined for sustained opposite-lock work should be set up. For 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder F31s built between 2011 and 2026 and running the excl. M-Technik, xDrive and EDC specification, this kit gives you a rear-drive platform that holds its line and its angle rather than one that’s second-guessing the driver.

What this coilover kit does for your 2011-2026 Bmw 3 Series F31 4/6 Cyl (excl. M-Technik, xDrive & EDC)

Drop the ride height on this F31 and the car’s centre of gravity comes down right where a drift build needs it: over the rear axle, where the extra weight of the Touring bodyshell already concentrates load under power. The three external adjustment knobs let you set compression and rebound independently front and rear, so you can load the rear tyres hard enough to break traction on command without the front end going vague mid-transition. Because the factory EDC control unit is bypassed entirely, there’s no adaptive damper firmware fighting your inputs when you catch a slide – what you set at the knob is what the suspension does, run after run. On a car built for repeated big steering inputs and sustained yaw angle, that mechanical honesty counts for more than ride comfort.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

The Pro Racing Drift Spec sits at the sideways end of XYZ Racing’s coilover range, built specifically to keep a car’s body stable through sustained, high-speed rotation rather than to minimise it. Once ride height is dropped and bump stroke is set correctly, the kit holds the chassis at a controlled angle instead of letting it wallow or snap back, which is what separates a drift-capable coilover from a fast-road one. Damping is set via three external knobs, and the internal circuit uses a deliberately narrow oil passage to control that damping precisely – on rough sections of a track surface this can produce a faint noise as oil moves through the smaller channel, which is a normal side effect of the tuning rather than a fault. XYZ Racing designed this spec for circuit and track environments specifically, so kerb strikes and surface irregularities that would trouble a road-biased setup are exactly what it’s built to shrug off.

Fitment for the Bmw 3 Series F31 4/6 CYL (excl. M-Technik. Xdrive & EDC) (2011-2026)

This kit is built for the F31-chassis 3 Series Touring, covering both 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder engines from the 2011 to 2026 model years. It’s specified for cars without the M-Technik package, without xDrive four-wheel drive, and without the factory EDC electronic damper system – confirm your BM75-7 spec sheet matches before ordering.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
