XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — BMW 3 SERIES E93 M3 (Modified Rear Integrated) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2007-2011

The E93 M3’s factory-fit EDC dampers were tuned around a digital feedback loop that has no place on a car being set up to hold a controlled slide angle. XYZ Racing’s Drift Spec coilover ends that conversation outright – the kit includes the cancellation loom needed to run fully manual valving on the S65-powered convertible without the dash throwing electronic damping faults, so the rear end settles into whatever spec you dial with a spanner, not firmware.

Built specifically for competitive drifting rather than fast-road comfort, this is the setup for owners taking their E93 M3 to a drift day and needing the rear to load and unload predictably through a transition, not a kit chasing ride quality on the school run.

What this coilover does for your 2007-2011 Bmw 3 Series E93 M3

Drop the ride height correctly on this kit and the car’s roll centre and weight transfer change in a way that’s immediately obvious the first time you initiate a slide – the front end tucks in faster and the rear stays committed to the angle rather than snapping back. The "Modified Rr Integrated" rear-end fitment means the coilover’s rear mounting works with the E93’s factory rear geometry rather than against it, which matters on a convertible carrying more structural weight over the rear axle than the coupe. With the electronic damping cancellation kit fitted, there’s no EDC module fighting your chosen valving mid-corner, and no warning light nagging you every time you start the car. The result is a rear axle that behaves the same way lap after lap of a drift session, because the damping curve you set is the only one in the conversation.

About the Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing built the Drift Spec range for one job: holding a car’s body stable through sustained, high-speed cornering angles rather than absorbing bumps in a straight line. The design is aimed squarely at giving drivers the confidence to commit to and hold a wider slide angle, with the damping and spring combination working to keep the chassis settled rather than pitching as weight shifts from lock to lock. Ride height is meant to come down as part of the setup, and with the correct bump stroke dialled in, the kit is built to give consistent, repeatable control through the transition rather than a single good run. For the E93 M3 specifically, that means a rear end that stays composed under the S65’s torque delivery as the car rotates, and a front end that responds cleanly when you catch the slide.

Fitment for the Bmw 3 Series E93 M3 (2007-2011)

Fits the BMW 3 Series E93 M3 (chassis code BM91-C) built 2007 to 2011, specified with the Modified Rr Integrated rear mounting and the cancellation kit required to disable factory electronic damping control. Confirm your car carries the factory EDC option before ordering, as the cancellation loom is built for that configuration.

This suspension is designed for Drift race especially. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowing the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.
