XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — BMW 3 SERIES E93 M3 (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2007-2011

The E93 M3 carries its mass differently to its coupe and saloon siblings. The folding metal hardtop and the bracing that supports it push kerb weight past 1800kg and sit it high and rearward, which is precisely the inertia a drift car has to manage on entry and through every transition. The XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover for the BMW 3 Series E93 M3 is built around that exact problem: keeping a heavy, open-top S65 V8 platform settled while you hold angle.

This is a competition drift package, not a fast-road compromise. It ships with the cancellation kit for the factory Electronic Damping Control, so once the original EDC struts come out the car’s electronics stop hunting for dampers that are no longer there and stop throwing fault codes. Ride height comes down, bump stroke is set for control rather than ride quality, and the chassis is given the discipline to rotate on command instead of on luck.

What this coilover does for your 2007-2011 BMW 3 Series E93 M3

Lower the E93 M3 on this kit with the correct bump stroke and the convertible’s habit of pitching and wallowing under big steering and throttle inputs is brought under control. The setup stabilises the body through high-speed cornering so you can place the car at a deliberate angle rather than catching it after the fact. Three adjustment knobs let you separate spring preload and damping behaviour, so you can match the rear’s reaction to a 4.0 V8 that delivers its torque hard and high in the rev range. The result is a heavy cabrio that transitions cleanly and stays predictable when you commit to a line of corners.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

The Pro Racing Drift Spec is engineered specifically for drift competition rather than adapted from a road damper. Its internal design is aimed at stabilising the body during high-speed turning so the driver can set and hold a clean angle, and the geometry is set up to enhance rotation once the car is lowered with the proper bump stroke. The kit runs three adjustment knobs, and the dampers use a small oil-hole passage design: over large bumps the oil is forced through that narrow passage, which can produce a faint noise. That is normal behaviour, not a fault. The product is built for the relatively smooth surface of circuit tracks, where that bump behaviour is a non-issue, and it prioritises body control over compliance throughout.

Fitment for the BMW 3 Series E93 M3 (2007-2011)

This kit is specified for the E93 M3 convertible, chassis code BM69-1-C, across the 2007 to 2011 production span. It is the variant that includes the cancellation kit for the factory Electronic Damping Control, which is required when replacing the EDC-equipped struts on this car. Confirm your model year and that your car runs the original EDC system before ordering.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
