XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — BMW 3 SERIES E93 4 CYL 2006-2011

The E93’s convertible shell carries extra weight over the front axle and less torsional rigidity than the coupe it’s built from, which matters the moment you’re loading the chassis sideways at the limit. Body control through a committed slide depends on the suspension resisting roll and dive rather than fighting the driver’s inputs, and that’s precisely where a drift-specific setup earns its keep.

XYZ Racing’s Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover is built around one job: keeping the car’s attitude predictable once you’ve broken traction. On the 4-cylinder E93, that means a setup tuned to stabilise the body during high-speed transitions so the car holds its angle rather than snapping or washing out mid-corner.

What this coilover does for your 2006-2011 Bmw 3 Series E93

Drop the ride height correctly with the available bump stroke and the difference in drift control is immediate – the car settles into an angle instead of hunting for one. The 3 adjustment knobs let you separate compression and rebound behaviour, so you can firm up the front to sharpen initial rotation on the E93’s nose-heavy convertible platform while keeping enough rear compliance to catch the slide without it snapping back. Because the setup is tuned around sustained high-speed cornering rather than daily-road comfort, the E93 holds its line through longer, faster transitions where a stock or road-biased spring rate would let the body roll and the rear step out unpredictably. Lowering within the intended bump stroke also drops the centre of gravity, reducing the weight transfer that fights you as you countersteer out of a slide.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

This is a coilover built specifically around drift use rather than adapted from a track or fast-road base. The design is aimed at stabilising the car’s body during high-speed turning so the driver can hold a clean angle rather than correcting for chassis movement. Three external adjustment knobs give separate control over the damping circuits, letting you tune the front-to-rear balance to suit how the E93 wants to rotate and how quickly you want it to catch. The knobs use a small oil-hole passage design; running over bigger bumps can push oil through that passage and produce a faint noise under load, which is a normal characteristic of this valving rather than a fault. The setup is intended for circuit and track surfaces, where this bump behaviour is expected and doesn’t affect performance.

Fitment for the Bmw 3 Series E93 (2006-2011)

Built specifically for the E93 chassis 4-cylinder 3 Series, covering the 2006 to 2011 model years. Confirm your car matches the BM68 chassis code and 4-cylinder engine before ordering, as coilover spec differs across the wider E9x range.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
