XYZ Racing Circuit Master Coilovers — BMW 1 SERIES F21 4/6 CYL (excl. M-Technik. xDrive & EDC) (Modified Rear Integrated) 2011-2026

The F21 1 Series carries its weight further back than most hot hatches in its class, and on standard dampers that shows up as a rear end that gets nervous the moment you trail-brake into a fast corner. Circuit Master coilovers for the 4- and 6-cylinder F21 (excluding M-Technik, xDrive and EDC cars) are built to put that rear axle back under control, with a modified, fully integrated rear mounting designed specifically around this chassis rather than adapted from a parts-bin damper.

This is the range built for drivers doing repeated circuit sessions in an F21, not the odd fast road blast. It replaces the factory EDC-less setup entirely, giving you a mechanical, adjustable platform that keeps working the same way on lap ten as it did on lap one.

What this coilover does for your 2011-2026 Bmw 1 Series

Fit a Circuit Master kit to a 4/6-cylinder F21 and the first thing you’ll notice is how much flatter the car sits through direction changes – body roll that used to load the outside front tyre unevenly gets tied down, so the front end bites earlier and holds its line for longer. The 3-knob damping adjustment, spread across 9720 possible combinations, means you can set compression and rebound separately for the front and rear rather than compromising on a single global setting; that matters on the F21 because the 6-cylinder cars carry noticeably more nose weight than the 4-cylinder versions and need a different balance to stop understeer creeping in under power. Ride height is fully adjustable independent of spring preload, so you can drop the car for a lower centre of gravity without crushing the working range of the damper. The rear-integrated mount also cuts down on the clunk and slack that stock rear arms develop over hard use, which on this chassis is usually the first thing to go once you start pushing on track.

About the Circuit Master coilover

Circuit Master sits at the top of XYZ Racing’s range, built for circuit and competitive track use rather than road comfort. XYZ racing teams have run it across international circuits during its development, and that testing informs the 9720-way adjustment spread delivered through three separate knobs rather than a single dial – one of the reasons it’s specified on cars competing in disciplines from tarmac rally to drift. Each damper uses a small-orifice oil-passage design inside the valving; on a rough kerb or a particularly abrupt bump you may hear a faint noise as oil moves through that passage, which is a normal characteristic of this valving rather than a fault, and it’s not something that affects the damper’s behaviour on track. The kit is built around a monotube-style construction and separately adjustable ride height and damping, giving you the range to run it stiff for a trackday and soften it off without swapping hardware for road use in between.

Fitment for the Bmw 1 Series F21 (2011-2026)

This kit is built for the F21-generation 1 Series across both 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder engine variants from 2011 to 2026, using a modified, fully rear-integrated mounting design. It excludes M-Technik, xDrive and EDC-equipped cars, so check your specific F21’s factory options before ordering – the electronic damping and four-wheel-drive variants need a different kit to match their standard hardware.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
