Caliper render for this kit:

The S235 Crown Crossover carries its mass high and leans on a hybrid all-wheel-drive layout that puts real demand on the back axle under repeated heavy braking. The XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit for the Toyota Crown Crossover 4WD (S235) swaps the standard rear setup for a hollow-vane two-piece floating disc that strips rotating weight off each rear corner while adding the thermal headroom the factory rears were never given.
This is a rear-axle upgrade for owners who use the car the way it was built to be used, long cross-country runs and the occasional hard B-road, where the standard brakes start to feel vague once heat builds. Supplied as a matched pair of rear calipers and discs, with pad compounds from quiet road manners through to a full racing friction material, the kit lets you match rear bite to how hard you actually drive a Crown Crossover between 2023 and 2026.
What this brake kit does for your 2023-2026 Toyota Crown Crossover 4WD (S235)
Fit the hollow-vane rear rotors and the first thing you feel on the Crown Crossover is a calmer, more settled rear end under braking: the lighter rotating mass cuts unsprung weight, letting the rear dampers control each wheel more cleanly over mid-corner bumps. On a heavy hybrid crossover that leans on regenerative braking around town, the bigger friction surface earns its keep when you ask for sustained stops from speed, holding consistent instead of fading into a long, soft pedal. Because the hybrid system already shuffles braking effort front to rear, a rear axle that resists heat keeps the stability software working with you rather than trimming the car to cover a tiring back end. You also get to choose bite to taste, from the quiet Street pad for daily use to the Sport pad for fast-road work and the Racing compound when you want firm, repeatable retardation.
About the Hollow rear brake kit
The Hollow rear brake kit takes its name from its rotor design: a hollow-vane disc machined to remove material and cut rotating mass without giving up swept area, so the rear of the Crown Crossover gains braking surface and loses weight at the same time. The disc is two-piece and floating, with a lighter alloy bell, and the rotors pair with an uprated performance caliper. The caliper is hollow-bodied as standard, with an optional Hollow Racing upgrade that drops the dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty for the hardest use.
Three pad compounds, Street, Sport and Racing, mean one piece of hardware suits a quiet commuter, a fast-road car or a harder-driven setup. The Street pad keeps noise and dust low, the Sport compound raises bite and heat tolerance for enthusiastic road work, and the Racing material is there for owners who push hardest and want the most aggressive, fade-resistant friction the kit offers. Calipers are finished in Red, Yellow, Gold, Black or Anodized Black at no extra cost, with a Custom Color in any Pantone, premium polished-forged finishes in titanium, polished gold or polished silver, and candy finishes in teal, blue, red or orange, so the rear hardware can be matched to the car or left understated. Discs come drilled or slotted at the same price, and the centre bell can be upgraded to two-tone anodized in five colours or titanium. As a rear-specific kit, it is built to reinforce and rebalance the back axle of a heavy all-wheel-drive crossover, not simply restyle it.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
