Caliper render for this kit:

Front-wheel-drive saloons ask more of their front brakes than the specification sheet suggests. On the E140 Corolla Altis, the driven axle manages deceleration and steering simultaneously; under trail-braking into a corner the front discs absorb not just straight-line stopping force but the combined load of the car scrubbing speed while still pointing itself at the apex. Toyota’s factory setup on the 2007-2013 Altis is well-matched to the naturally aspirated 1.6 and 1.8-litre engines under everyday conditions, but sustained hard braking or repeated high-load corners expose the limits of the standard disc mass and friction compound.
The XYZ Racing Hollow Front Brake Kit addresses that ceiling with three configurable pad compounds and a full choice of caliper finish, so the hardware can be specified for the car’s actual use: road, fast road, or regular circuit work. Street is the quiet, low-dust default, Sport adds bite and a wider heat range, and Racing is the dedicated track compound.
What this brake kit does for your 2007-2013 Toyota COROLLA ALTIS
On the E140 platform, brake force distribution tilts sharply toward the front axle on every hard stop. Without a driven rear axle to provide balanced retardation, weight transfer under deceleration concentrates the thermal load almost entirely on the front pair, which on the Altis means those discs work hard through every spirited road section and every lap session. The hollow-vane disc improves heat dispersal at that concentration point, reducing the temperature build-up that leads to fade and inconsistent pedal response, while the two-piece floating disc trims rotating mass and braided lines firm the pedal.
Pad compound defines the kit’s operating character. Street maintains quiet, low-dust cold-start behaviour and predictable bite across the temperature range of daily commuting. Sport raises the window for drivers who push on fast A-roads and want sharper response under repeated heavy braking. Racing handles the sustained high-temperature cycles circuit work generates, where a road-biased material would begin to lose consistency. The caliper finish completes a specification that addresses both performance intent and visual direction.
About the Hollow Front Brake Kit
The Hollow designation identifies the disc construction: a hollow-vane disc with air moving through the disc body to reduce rotating mass and improve airflow at the friction surface. Against a conventional solid iron casting, the result is better heat rejection from the disc face and a lighter unsprung component at the front axle, both factors that matter most on FWD platforms where the front discs carry the majority of braking duty. The discs are two-piece and floating, the caliper is hollow-bodied as standard, and braided lines are included.
The kit is configurable when you order. Compound selection, Street, Sport, or Racing, determines friction behaviour and operating temperature range. Painted caliper finishes Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, and Anodized Black are included at no extra cost, with a Custom Color in any Pantone at £150 and premium polished-forged and candy finishes also offered. That combination means the same fundamentally sound brake upgrade can be calibrated to a commuter’s priorities or a trackday regular’s, without a separate fitment to achieve it.
Fitment for the Toyota COROLLA ALTIS (2007-2013)
This front brake kit is specified for the Toyota Corolla Altis across the 2007 to 2013 model year span. The front-axle fitment addresses the position that carries the primary braking load on this FWD platform. Verify your specific model year and trim variant against the fitment data before ordering to confirm correct application.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 286–380mm (front). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
