Caliper render for this kit:

On the E120 Corolla Altis, braking duty falls almost entirely on the front axle, and many 2002-2006 cars left the factory with modest rear discs that contribute little once the pace climbs. The XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit for the Toyota Corolla Altis tackles that imbalance directly, putting a larger, better-cooled rear setup where the standard car offers the least.
Built for owners pushing a light, front-drive saloon harder than Toyota ever intended, this rear kit restores brake balance so the back of the car does its share. Supplied as a matched pair of rear calipers and two-piece floating discs, with pad compound your call, Street, Sport or Racing, the same hardware suits a road Altis or one that sees regular track and hillclimb use.
What this brake kit does for your 2002-2006 Toyota Corolla Altis
With a torsion-beam rear axle and a kerb weight comfortably under 1,300kg, the Altis loads its front tyres hard under braking and unloads the rear. A bigger rear disc gives the back axle more thermal mass, so it keeps biting through repeated stops instead of fading and dumping everything onto the front pads. You feel it as a squarer, more stable stop: less nose-dive drama, and a tail that stays planted rather than skating when you brake into a corner. The two-piece floating disc also trims unsprung mass so the suspension keeps the rear tyres in contact over kerbs. Run the Racing compound and the rear shrugs off heat across a full session; the Street pad keeps things quiet and dust-light for daily driving, with the Sport pad bridging the two for fast-road use.
About the Hollow Rear Brake Kit
The Hollow Rear Brake Kit takes its name from its lightened, hollow-vane rotors, which trim rotating and unsprung mass at the rear axle without giving up swept area. Less rotating weight at each back corner means the brakes spin up and slow down more readily, and the suspension has less mass to control over kerbs and broken surfaces. The discs are two-piece and floating, with a lighter alloy bell, and the kit pairs those rotors with a dedicated rear caliper that is hollow-bodied as standard. Serious track users can step up to the Hollow Racing caliper, which drops the dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty.
Pad choice spans three compounds: Street for stock-like feel and low dust, Sport for stronger bite with civilised noise and dust, and Racing for sustained high-temperature work. Caliper finishes run from Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black at no extra cost, with a Custom Color in any Pantone, premium polished-forged finishes in titanium, polished gold or polished silver, and candy finishes in teal, blue, red or orange for owners matching a specific scheme. Discs come drilled or slotted at the same price, and the centre bell can be upgraded to two-tone anodized in five colours or titanium. It is a bolt-on rear upgrade aimed at sharpening brake balance rather than chasing headline front-rotor diameters.
Fitment for the Toyota Corolla Altis (2002-2006)
This kit is cut for the 2002-2006 Toyota Corolla Altis, covering the E120-generation saloon across that production span, and is supplied as a matched left-and-right pair. It is a rear-axle fitment, so confirm your current rear brake type and wheel clearance against the spec before ordering. Front kits are listed separately if you want to upgrade both ends.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
