Caliper render for this kit:

The R35 GT-R leans harder on its rear axle than most AWD coupes will ever ask of theirs. ATTESA E-TS biases torque rearward when grip allows, the dual-clutch transaxle plants its mass over the back wheels, and the whole car tips the scales north of 1.7 tonnes. All of that load arrives at the rear brakes every time you stand on the pedal from three-figure speed. This XYZ Racing rear brake kit for the Nissan Skyline R35 GTR is built to take it.
The factory Brembo setup is strong on paper, but anyone who has run consecutive sessions knows the rears are first to telegraph heat: a softening pedal, a faint smell in the pits, discs that craze after a hard summer track day. A hollow-vane rear kit attacks that at the source: less rotating mass to heat-soak, more thermal headroom, two-piece floating discs that expand evenly under load, and a pad compound you can match to how the car is actually used. It ships as a matched pair of left and right rear calipers and discs.
What this brake kit does for your 2009-2026 Nissan Skyline R35 GTR
You feel it first in pedal consistency. The hollow-vane disc sheds heat faster and carries less rotating and unsprung mass than a solid rotor, so the rear axle stays composed through repeat heavy stops instead of going long halfway down a session. Pick the Racing compound and the rears bite hard early and hold their torque deep into a braking zone; the Sport compound steps up bite and heat range for fast road with occasional track; the Street compound keeps things quiet and low-dust for the road miles between track days. Across all three you get a firmer, more linear pedal and a tail that settles under trail-braking rather than stepping out of line, helped by floating discs that stay flat as they heat.
About the Hollow Rear Brake Kit
This is a rear-axle big brake kit using two-piece floating discs with hollow vanes to drop rotating mass and improve heat rejection over the standard disc. Discs are drilled or slotted at the same price, with a two-tone centre bell in five anodized colours or titanium selectable at checkout. Pad compound is a buyer choice across Street, Sport and Racing, so the same hardware suits a road-biased GT-R or a car that lives on circuit. Included caliper finishes at no extra cost are Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black, with a Custom Color in any Pantone for £150, premium polished-forged finishes in Titanium, Polished Gold and Polished Silver, and candy options in Teal, Blue, Red and Orange. Track-focused owners can specify the Hollow Racing caliper, which runs no dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty. It is a position-specific kit for the rear of the car, sized to work with the GT-R’s existing front balance rather than overwhelming it.
Fitment for the Nissan Skyline R35 GTR (2009-2026)
This kit is cut for the R35-generation Nissan Skyline GT-R across the full 2009 to 2026 production span. It is a rear-position fitment only. Confirm your build year and wheel clearance before ordering, since R35 wheel and caliper packages changed across the model’s long life.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
