Caliper render for this kit:

The factory-fitted Brembo setup on the R35 GT-R was never token hardware, with six pistons up front clamping rotors on a car that weighed 1,740 kilograms even in base trim. On road and the occasional spirited drive it copes without issue. Run the same car through a circuit session with a tuned engine nudging 500bhp, ask it to repeat those stops across a full day at pace, and the limits of stock pad compound and thermal management become clear.
This XYZ Racing front brake kit for the Nissan Skyline R35 GTR targets the front axle, where deceleration loads concentrate hardest in the GT-R’s AWD setup, and supplies a matched pair of front discs and calipers. Three pad compounds and a range of caliper colours mean the kit can be specified to match the car’s actual use rather than serving a compromise across all of it.
What this brake kit does for your 2009-2026 Nissan SKYLINE R35 GTR
Hollow-vane disc construction reduces rotating and unsprung weight at the front axle while the internal channel architecture pulls heat off the friction face under load far better than a solid disc. On a car as thermally demanding as the R35, 1,740 kilograms of AWD machinery with a twin-turbocharged VR38 that makes high closing speeds routine, that thermal headroom is where the upgrade earns its place. The Sport pad compound raises the operating window above standard spec, reducing fade onset during fast-road driving without penalising cold-morning bite, while Street keeps a quiet, low-dust daily and Racing holds consistent performance across sustained circuit braking. Caliper colours are visible through the GT-R’s wheels; they are the finishing detail, not the technical argument.
About the Hollow Front Brake Kit
Hollow-vane rotors use an internal channel design to move hot air through the disc more efficiently than a solid rotor can at equivalent mass, a meaningful structural distinction on a car that asks the front axle to absorb repeated high-energy stops. The kit is supplied as a pair of front discs and calipers, with compound selected when you order so the correct specification is running from the first fitting rather than burning through a break-in on the wrong pad. Street covers daily use and occasional fast roads. Sport opens the temperature range for drivers who attend track days without committing to a dedicated circuit setup. Racing is calibrated for sustained high-temperature braking, the R35 in full circuit use, tuned builds with significantly elevated output, or any scenario where heat management is the limiting factor. The calipers are hollow-body as standard, with an optional Hollow Racing upgrade for serious track use that drops the dust cover, is rated to 1000C, and carries a two-year warranty.
Caliper finish covers Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, and Anodized Black at no extra cost, with a Custom Color option matching any Pantone for an additional fee and premium polished-forged and candy finishes available. Disc style is drilled or slotted at the same price, with two-tone anodized or titanium centre bells selectable at checkout.
Fitment for the Nissan SKYLINE R35 GTR (2009-2026)
This kit is confirmed for the Nissan Skyline R35 GT-R across the 2009 to 2026 production span, covering all engine output specifications Nissan applied through that period. Front axle only; rear brake specification is a separate application. Check your build year sits within the 2009-2026 window before configuring your order.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 286–380mm (front). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
