Caliper render for this kit:

The LX/LD-platform Charger carries close to two tonnes on a Mercedes-derived multilink rear end, and the non-SRT-8 cars left the factory with comparatively modest rear discs that were never sized for the SRT8’s Brembo workload. On a heavy, rear-biased saloon that share of braking effort at the back axle matters more than most owners expect, and standard rotors heat-soak fast under repeat use.
The XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit for the Dodge Charger (NON SRT-8) addresses exactly that. It swaps the original rear setup for a hollow-vane disc and a fixed caliper, adding thermal mass and a firmer pedal where the stock rear brakes run out of bite. Supplied as a matched pair of rear calipers and discs, it is the rear-axle half of a balanced big brake upgrade for the 2009-2012 Charger.
What this big brake kit does for your 2009-2012 Dodge Charger
The hollow-vane disc design cuts rotating and unsprung weight at the rear, which sharpens turn-in response and eases the load on the Charger’s rear dampers over broken surfaces. With three pad compound options you can match bite and fade resistance to how the car is actually used, from motorway miles to harder back-road and track sessions: Street for everyday driving, Sport for fast-road bite, and Racing for sustained high-temperature work. Expect a more consistent rear pedal feel after a sequence of stops, better resistance to heat-soak on long descents, and the visual lift of a proper fixed caliper sitting behind the wheel. Painted caliper finishes run through Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black at no extra cost, with custom Pantone and premium options to suit the build.
About the Hollow Rear Brake Kit
This is a rear-position bolt-on kit built around XYZ Racing’s hollow-vane disc, where the rotor face is lightened to shed rotating and unsprung mass without giving up thermal capacity. The disc is a two-piece floating design, offered drilled or slotted at the same price, fed by braided lines, and the fixed hollow-body caliper clamps more evenly than the sliding original, which keeps pad wear consistent and pedal travel short. The caliper is hollow-body as standard, with an optional Hollow Racing upgrade (no dust cover, rated to 1000C, two-year warranty) for owners running sustained circuit sessions. Pad selection runs across three compounds: Street for everyday use, Sport for fast-road bite, and Racing for sustained high-temperature work. The kit is engineered to lift rear braking performance on the Charger to a level that complements a front big brake upgrade, rather than leaving the rear axle as the weak link. Painted colours are Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black at no cost, with any Pantone shade as a Custom Color for a small upcharge, plus premium polished-forged finishes (Titanium, Polished Gold, Polished Silver), candy finishes (Candy Teal, Candy Blue, Candy Red, Candy Orange), and two-tone centre bells in five anodized colours or titanium, so the hardware can match the rest of the car.
Fitment for the Dodge Charger (NON SRT-8) (2009-2012)
This kit fits the rear axle of the Dodge Charger in non-SRT-8 specification, model years 2009 to 2012, across the LX/LD platform. It is designed specifically for the non-SRT-8 cars, which run the smaller factory rear brakes rather than the SRT8’s larger setup. Confirm your exact year and wheel clearance against the spec in the options above before ordering.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
