Caliper render for this kit:

The F16 X6 carries its bulk high and asks a great deal of its rear axle every time you wash off speed, well over two tonnes of coupe-SUV leaning on four contact patches under braking. The factory rear set-up handles the daily commute, but string together repeated heavy stops on a quick A-road or a long alpine descent and heat builds in the discs faster than they can shed it. Pedal feel goes long, and confidence follows.
This XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit for the Bmw X6 F16 (2015-2019) tackles the thermal side of that equation at the rear axle, where load transfer on a nose-heavy SUV still leaves the back doing genuine work. Supplied as a matched left-and-right pair, it pairs lighter two-piece hollow-vane discs with a caliper and pad package you can specify to suit how the car is actually driven.
What this brake kit does for your 2015-2019 Bmw X6 F16
The first thing you feel is a brake pedal that stays consistent where the standard one would already be fading. The hollow-vane disc design strips rotating and unsprung mass from each rear corner, which sharpens response and eases the load on the X6’s dampers over broken surfaces. Pad compound is your call: the Street and Sport options keep noise and dust sensible for everyday and fast-road driving, while the Racing compound holds its bite through sustained high-temperature work. Adding capacity at the rear also steadies the car’s brake balance, so the heavy F16 settles rather than pitches forward when you stand on the pedal hard, and matching the rear compound to the front keeps that balance honest.
About the Hollow Rear Brake Kit
XYZ Racing builds this as a working rear-axle upgrade rather than a cosmetic one. The discs are two-piece floating items with hollow vanes that move air through the friction faces and pull heat out quickly, which is the single biggest factor in resisting fade on a vehicle this heavy. That construction also lowers the mass of each rotating disc compared with a solid equivalent, easing the rear suspension’s job, while the floating bell lets the ring expand under heat without distorting. The kit is offered with three pad compounds, Street, Sport and Racing, so the same hardware suits a comfort-biased road car or a harder-driven one. The caliper is hollow-bodied as standard, with a Hollow Racing upgrade available for serious track use that drops the dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty. Painted calipers are finished in Red, Yellow, Gold, Black or Anodized Black at no extra cost, with premium polished-forged and candy options and a custom Pantone choice if you want a specific shade sitting behind the X6’s open alloy spokes. Discs come drilled or slotted at the same price, braided lines are included, and the centre bell can be upgraded to a two-tone anodized colour or titanium. Everything is matched to the F16 platform’s rear axle.
Fitment for the Bmw X6 F16 (2015-2019)
This kit is specified for the second-generation F16 X6 built across the 2015 to 2019 model years, and fits the rear axle as a left-and-right pair. Confirm your chassis code reads F16 and that the build year falls inside that span before ordering; the options above list the rear-specific hardware for this generation only.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
