XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Toyota SUPRA J29/ A90 (Modified Rear Integrated) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2019-2026

The A90 Supra’s factory adaptive dampers are built for GT compliance, not for holding a slide at full lock while the rear axle steps out. Getting this chassis to drift on demand means removing that electronic damping logic entirely and replacing it with a fixed-rate, mechanically adjustable platform that reacts the same way every time you countersteer.

That’s what this Drift Spec kit does. It comes with the cancellation module built in, so the factory ECU stops hunting for a damper signal that no longer exists, and the rear geometry is set up to work with the Supra’s modified rear integration rather than fight it. The result is a chassis that loads predictably mid-slide instead of second-guessing you.

What this coilover does for your 2019-2026 Toyota SUPRA

With the ride height dropped and bump stroke properly set, the A90’s rear end stops wallowing through weight transfer and starts telegraphing exactly where the limit is. That matters on a car this heavy through the rear subframe – you need the outside rear tyre loading up progressively, not spiking, or you snap from grip to slide with no window to catch it. Lowering the car also drops the roll centre, which cuts the body lean that normally delays your steering correction on entry. Because the electronic damper cancellation kit removes the factory adaptive logic, the ride quality and damping response stay consistent whether the car’s cold on the first run of the day or hot ten laps into a session – no ECU trying to soften things up mid-slide. For a car that’s more often bought for angle and smoke than outright grip, that consistency is what lets you commit to the same entry speed every pass.

About the Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing built this line specifically around competition drift, where the priority is body control at extreme slip angles rather than outright lateral grip. The valving and spring rates are set up to stabilise the chassis through high-speed rotation so the car holds a clean, controllable angle instead of snapping or washing out. Ride height and bump stroke are both adjustable, and getting that combination right is what XYZ Racing describes as the difference between a car that’s merely lowered and one that’s genuinely tuned for drift control. On a car like the A90 Supra, where the factory suspension is electronically managed, that adjustability only works once the OEM damping signal has been cancelled out – which is why the electronic damping cancellation kit ships as part of this application rather than as an optional extra.

Fitment for the Toyota SUPRA (2019-2026)

Built specifically for the J29/A90-generation Supra across the 2019-2026 production run, this application (chassis code TO78-C) is set up for the modified rear integration used on this platform, with the electronic damping cancellation kit included to suit cars fitted with factory adaptive dampers.

This suspension is designed for Drift race especially. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowing the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

  • Hardened rubber top mountHardened rubberRHardened rubber upper — firmer than the factory bush for tighter response while retaining road-friendly noise and vibration isolation.

Rear

  • Aluminium top mountAluminiumAAluminium upper mount — a stiff, lightweight housing that locates the damper precisely and resists flex under load.
