XYZ Racing Circuit Master Coilovers — Seat ALTEA 5P φ50 2004-2015

The Altea 5P’s raised MPV stance works against it the moment the road tightens – more roll, more nose dive under braking, more of the body moving independently of the chassis than a driver chasing lap times wants. The Circuit Master coilover is XYZ Racing’s dedicated circuit platform, built to put that mass under control rather than just stiffen against it.

On the 5P specifically, that means addressing the higher centre of gravity through the corner without turning the ride into a punishment. This is sustained circuit lap-time work the kit is built for – repeated heat cycles, repeated compression events, and a chassis that needs to stay predictable on lap twenty the same way it was on lap one.

What this coilover does for your 2004-2015 Seat Altea

Drop the Altea onto Circuit Master and the first thing you’ll notice is how much less the body moves – less dive under trail braking into a hairpin, less roll transferring load off the inside front tyre mid-corner. The 9720-way adjustment range means you’re not guessing at a single fixed rate; you can wind support in for a track day and back off a few clicks for the drive home without the compromise most fixed-rate kits force on you. Ride height comes down with it, which lowers the Altea’s centre of gravity and sharpens turn-in response that the standard MPV geometry doesn’t naturally offer. Because the damper is tuned for circuit-specific loads rather than a generic fast-road compromise, braking stability into slow corners holds up even as tyre and pad temperatures climb through a session.

About the Circuit Master coilover

Circuit Master sits at the top of XYZ Racing’s competition-oriented range, developed and tested through XYZ’s racing teams on circuits internationally rather than tuned purely on a bench. The headline figure is 9720 damping combinations, delivered through three external adjustment knobs so compression and rebound can be split and refined independently instead of moving together on a single dial. That knob placement uses a deliberately small oil-passage design – tight tolerances that give the adjustment range its resolution, though it does mean you may hear a faint noise from the damper oil crossing bigger bumps or kerbs. That’s a normal characteristic of the design, not a fault, and it’s the trade-off XYZ made to get circuit-grade adjustability into a road-legal-length damper. The construction and valving are aimed squarely at repeated, sustained track use – the kind of session where a soft or fast-road-biased damper starts to fade and this one doesn’t.

Fitment for the Seat Altea (2004-2015)

This kit is engineered specifically for the Seat Altea 5P (chassis code SE01), covering the full 2004 to 2015 production run. Confirm your Altea matches the 5P generation and φ50 strut diameter before ordering, as coilover kits are chassis-specific and not interchangeable across Altea generations.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
