XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Hyundai GENESIS COUPE BK 2.0T (Modified Rear Integrated) 2011-2014

The Genesis Coupe BK’s multi-link rear end and turbocharged 2.0T four made it one of the cheapest rear-wheel-drive platforms a UK driver could get properly sideways on, and this Rr Integrated fitment matches the specific rear geometry Hyundai built into cars carrying the modified subframe. XYZ Racing’s Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover is set up around that layout, holding the body settled through the sustained high-speed rotation a drift run asks for rather than the short, single-direction loads a road car sees.

Competitive drifting lives or dies on ride height, bump stroke and initial angle all being set together, and that’s the job this kit does. Three external adjustment knobs let you tune the platform per car and per venue instead of accepting one fixed compromise for every session.

What this coilover does for your 2011-2014 Hyundai Genesis Coupe BK 2.0T (modified Rr Integrated)

Lower the ride height correctly and the Genesis Coupe’s roll centre sits where a drift setup wants it: the body stays settled through the transition into a slide instead of pitching and unsettling the rear axle mid-turn. The three-knob adjustment separates compression and rebound behaviour, so you can soften the rear for initiation and firm it back up to hold an angle once you’re committed, without swapping parts between runs. Because the internals are set up for repeated high-load turning rather than a single hard corner, control doesn’t fade as a run goes on. On the BK’s 2.0T power, drivers also get cleaner weight transfer under throttle-on transitions, since the rear resists squat instead of letting the axle float.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing built the Pro Racing Drift Spec range specifically for drift competition rather than adapting a road or circuit-racing coilover to the job. The focus is body stability through sustained high-speed rotation, keeping the car settled enough that the driver can hold a clean, repeatable angle instead of fighting roll mid-slide. Ride height and bump stroke are central to how the kit performs, and once both are set correctly the improvement in drift control over a standard coilover is obvious. The three external adjustment knobs run on a small-oil-hole internal design, and that’s deliberate: on rougher circuit surfaces you may hear a faint noise as oil passes through the smaller passage under load, which is expected and not a fault. The kit is set up around circuit track use, so kerbs and surface changes that would unsettle a lesser setup aren’t a concern here.

Fitment for the Hyundai Genesis Coupe BK 2.0T (modified Rr Integrated) (2011-2014)

This kit fits the BK-chassis Genesis Coupe with the 2.0T Theta turbo engine across the 2011 to 2014 model years, specifically the modified Rr Integrated rear fitment identified by chassis code HY10-1. Confirm your car carries this rear-end specification before ordering, since Hyundai fitted more than one rear configuration across the BK’s production run.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.

  • Hardened rubber top mountHardened rubberRHardened rubber upper — firmer than the factory bush for tighter response while retaining road-friendly noise and vibration isolation.

Rear
