XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Hyundai GENESIS COUPE BK 2.0T (Modified Rear Integrated) 2011-2014

The Genesis Coupe BK’s rear-wheel-drive chassis and 2.0-litre turbo four made it one of the default drift platforms to come out of Korea, and the factory suspension was never built with sustained yaw angle in mind. XYZ Racing’s Drift Spec coilover replaces that geometry with a setup tuned specifically to keep the body settled the moment you kick the rear out.

Where a track or fast-road kit is chasing grip, this one does the opposite: it is built to hold the car stable through sustained slip angle rather than resist it. For the BK 2.0T specifically, that means a chassis that stays predictable through the transition from entry to full angle, instead of snapping or wallowing mid-drift.

What this coilover does for your 2011-2014 Hyundai Genesis Coupe BK

Drop the ride height with the correct bump stroke set and the BK’s body control changes noticeably: the car settles into a locked-in angle instead of pitching as weight transfers from turn-in into the drift itself. That stability is what lets you hold a longer, more consistent line rather than constantly correcting steering input mid-slide. The 2.0T’s nose carries less weight than the V6-engined 3.8 Coupe, and the Drift Spec geometry is set up to use that advantage rather than fight it, keeping front-end response sharp enough to catch a slide early. Ride height and stroke are yours to set for your own combination of tyre, angle kit and power level, rather than being locked to a single compromise setting.

About the Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing built the Drift Spec line specifically for competition drifting rather than adapting a road or track kit for the discipline. The core job is body control at speed and at extreme steering angle: the damper and spring combination is tuned to keep the chassis settled while the car is sideways, rather than to maximise outright grip. Getting the ride height down correctly, with the bump stroke matched to that lower height, is central to how the kit works – get it right and the car holds its angle instead of fighting you for it. It is a setup built around one job: stabilising the body through sustained high-speed turning so the driver can hold a clean, controllable angle rather than constantly catching a car that wants to snap straight or spin. That single-purpose focus is what separates a Drift Spec coilover from a general fast-road or track-day kit.

Fitment for the Hyundai Genesis Coupe BK (2011-2014)

This kit is built for the Hyundai Genesis Coupe BK 2.0T, chassis code HY10-1, covering the 2011 to 2014 model years with the modified rear integrated mounting configuration. Confirm your build year and 2.0T engine spec against this range before ordering, since the BK’s suspension mounting changed across its production run.
