XYZ Racing Pro Racing Gravel/Snow Coilovers — BMW 6 SERIES E63 8 CYL 2004-2010

The E63’s 8-cylinder nose is a lot of engine to keep composed the moment the tarmac disappears under gravel or slush, and that’s exactly the brief this kit is built for. XYZ Racing’s Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover trades the stiff, low-travel logic of a circuit kit for genuinely longer front and rear stroke, so the big coupe’s mass has somewhere to go when a rut or a frost heave arrives without warning.

Where a track-focused set-up on this chassis would fight to stay planted over broken surfaces, this kit is engineered around exactly that scenario, giving the E63 the buffer distance it needs to stay stable rather than pattering and skipping across the loose stuff.

What this coilover does for your 2004-2010 Bmw 6 SERIES E63 8 CYL

Fit this to a 2004-2010 6 Series E63 and the immediate change is composure over surfaces the standard suspension was never asked to handle: longer travel front and rear soaks up ruts, frost heave and gravel washboard instead of transmitting every hit straight into the body shell. The extended oil and nitrogen gas capacity matters more on this car than most, because an 8-cylinder E63 carries real mass over the front axle, and mass plus repeated big compressions is exactly what cooks shock oil on a lesser damper. Here, the larger fluid volume is there to keep temperatures in check across a long stage or a long snowy blast, so damping force doesn’t fade away just when the car needs it most. The 3-way adjustment lets you lean the front end toward stability for loose-surface committing turn-in or firm it up when the road underneath turns predictable again, without swapping hardware.

About the Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover

This is a damper built specifically around rally and rallycross use, not a road kit with a longer spring wound on. The extra front and rear travel is the headline change: it gives the car a bigger cushion before the suspension bottoms out, which is what keeps a heavy coupe like the E63 settled when the surface underneath goes from tarmac to gravel to ice mid-corner. Behind that sits a deliberately larger reservoir of suspension oil and nitrogen gas, sized to resist the heat build-up that comes from sustained hard use rather than the odd stint. Each corner runs three adjustment knobs feeding through a small-hole internal passage; on big compressions that fine metering can produce a faint noise as oil moves through the restriction, which is a normal by-product of this design and not a fault. The whole unit is built for circuit and stage use where bump absorption matters more than outright stiffness, so occasional noise over rough sections is the trade-off for the stability gain.

Fitment for the Bmw 6 SERIES E63 (2004-2010)

Built for the 6 Series E63, chassis code BM44, across the full 2004 to 2010 production run for the 8-cylinder variant. Confirm your car matches this chassis code and engine configuration before ordering, as coilover geometry is specific to this generation of the 6 Series.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. With longer travel for both front and rear, it increases bigger buffer distance to keep the car stable. The most advantages of this product is to extend the amount of suspension oil and nitrogen gas which can increase the stability of the shocks and prevent the shock oil temperature too high from being exhausted after long-term use.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.

  • Hardened rubber top mountHardened rubberRHardened rubber upper — firmer than the factory bush for tighter response while retaining road-friendly noise and vibration isolation.

Rear

  • Aluminium top mountAluminiumAAluminium upper mount — a stiff, lightweight housing that locates the damper precisely and resists flex under load.
