XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — BMW 6 SERIES E63 8 CYL 2004-2010

Nearly two tonnes of V8 coupe sitting on a long wheelbase is not the easiest platform to hold sideways, and that is exactly the problem this kit is built to solve. The E63’s weight sits well forward over the front axle, so keeping the rear end committed to an angle through a long transition takes a chassis that will settle instantly rather than wallow into it.

The Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover is XYZ Racing’s competition-drift line, built around body control at the limit rather than outright ride comfort. For a car this heavy, that distinction matters: a soft setup lets the E63’s mass roll past the point of control mid-slide, while this kit is tuned to keep the body flat and predictable as you load the outside tyre and hold the angle.

What this coilover does for your 2004-2010 Bmw 6 Series E63 8 CYL

Once fitted, the biggest change you will feel is how the car settles into a slide rather than pitching through it. The kit’s damping is specifically calibrated to stabilise the body during high-speed cornering, which on a car carrying this much weight over the nose is the difference between holding a clean angle and constantly correcting one. Lowering the ride height with the correct bump stroke set for your car sharpens the E63’s drift response noticeably, tightening the initiation and giving you a more direct read on where the rear axle is at any given moment. With three external adjustment knobs, you can shift the balance between initiation, mid-slide stability, and transition speed to suit your own driving line rather than a generic factory compromise.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

This is a coilover built specifically for drift competition, not adapted from a road or grip-focused design. The valving is set up to keep the car’s body stable while cornering at speed, so the rear stays committed through a slide instead of stepping unpredictably. Set the ride height and bump stroke correctly and the improvement in drift control is immediate and repeatable, corner after corner. The three adjustment knobs use a small-oil-hole internal design, which means on rough sections of tarmac you may hear a faint noise as damping oil passes through the restricted passage – that is a normal characteristic of this valving, not a fault. It is a track-focused product, engineered with circuit-surface bumps in mind rather than pothole-strewn public roads.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
