XYZ Racing Circuit Master Coilovers — BMW 4 SERIES F83 M4 (Modified Rear Integrated) 2014-2020

The F83 M4’s folding hardtop adds real weight over the rear axle that BMW’s standard chassis tuning was never built around, and that extra mass shifts precisely where the S55’s twin-turbo torque wants to unsettle the rear under trail-braking. Add the Modified Rr Integrated link rear end into the mix and body control through direction changes becomes the limiting factor long before tyre grip does.

XYZ Racing’s Circuit Master coilover kit for the Bmw 4 Series F83 M4 (2014-2020) is built around that exact problem: sustained lap-time work, where the same corner gets hit dozens of times in a session and the damper has to behave the same way on lap 20 as it did on lap 1. This is not a fast-road compromise kit – it is set up for drivers taking the F83 M4 onto a circuit and staying there.

What this coilover does for your 2014-2020 BMW 4 Series F83 M4

Fit the Circuit Master kit and the rear of the F83 M4 stops moving independently of the front under hard braking into the apex – the 9720-way damping adjustment range gives enough resolution to balance compression and rebound front-to-rear rather than fighting the extra convertible mass. With three separate adjustment knobs per corner you can retune compression and rebound characteristics without disturbing ride height once it is set for your track’s kerb heights. Turn-in sharpens because body roll gets controlled at the point of load transfer, not after it – useful given how hard the S55’s torque loads the outside rear tyre mid-corner. Braking stability improves too, since the front end no longer dives independently of what the rear is doing, letting you carry brake pressure later into the corner with the convertible’s extra weight working with the chassis instead of against it.

About the Circuit Master coilover

XYZ Racing built the Circuit Master line specifically for repeated circuit use rather than one fast lap or a fast road commute. The damper is developed and run by XYZ’s own racing teams on international circuits, with that feedback loop shaping the valving rather than staying on a spec sheet. Each corner offers 9720 individual damping combinations across three external adjustment knobs, giving a genuinely wide window to move from a stiffer qualifying setup to something more tolerant for a longer stint without swapping hardware. The trade-off of packing that much adjustment into a compact damper body is a small oil hole design in the valving – on rough circuit kerbing you may hear a faint noise as oil passes through the narrower passage, which is a normal characteristic of the design rather than a fault. It is built to take circuit-surface abuse – kerbs, bumps, repeated heat cycles – without that being a concern for the kit’s durability.

Fitment for the BMW 4 Series F83 M4 (Modified Rr Integrated) (2014-2020)

This kit is specified for the Bmw 4 Series F83 M4, chassis code BM95, across the 2014 to 2020 production run, built for the Modified Rr Integrated rear suspension layout fitted to this generation. Confirm your car matches this rear-end configuration before ordering, as BMW ran more than one rear suspension specification across the F8x range.
