XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — BMW 3 SERIES G20 (2WD/4WD) 4/6 CYL (Modified Rear Integrated) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping 2018-2026

The G20 3 Series left the factory with electronically adjustable dampers doing the thinking for the driver, which is exactly the wrong setup for holding a car sideways at a fixed angle through a series of transitions. XYZ Racing’s Drift Spec coilover for the G20 replaces that logic with a fixed mechanical platform built around one job: keeping the body stable while the rear steps out and the front hunts for grip.

This is the cancellation-kit variant, built for G20s that left the factory with electronic damping fitted. Instead of fighting the car’s own EDC module, the kit removes it from the equation so the coilover’s own valving controls body movement through the whole slide, not just the moment before it.

What this coilover does for your 2018-2026 BMW 3 Series

Drop the ride height correctly and set the bump stroke as intended, and the difference in how the car holds an angle is immediate. Weight transfer during the initial break-away is sharper and more predictable, which matters on a G20 whether it’s running rear-wheel drive or the xDrive four-wheel-drive layout – both are catered for here. The rear-integrated mounting design keeps the multi-link geometry doing what it’s supposed to do under lateral load, rather than letting the subframe and mounts absorb movement the driver should be feeling through the wheel. For a car built primarily for comfortable B-road cruising, that’s a meaningful shift in how directly inputs translate into angle.

About the Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing built the Drift Spec range specifically around competition drifting rather than adapting a road or circuit coilover to the job. The valving is tuned to stabilise the body through high-speed direction changes so the car settles into a clean, repeatable angle instead of wallowing or snapping. Once the ride height is lowered and the bump stroke is set up correctly for the car, the improvement in drift control becomes obvious from the first few runs – the platform stops fighting the driver’s steering and throttle inputs and starts working with them.

Fitment for the BMW 3 Series G20 (2018-2026)

This suspension is designed for Drift race especially. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowing the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

  • Hardened rubber top mountHardened rubberRHardened rubber upper — firmer than the factory bush for tighter response while retaining road-friendly noise and vibration isolation.

Rear

  • Aluminium top mountAluminiumAAluminium upper mount — a stiff, lightweight housing that locates the damper precisely and resists flex under load.
