XYZ Racing Pro Racing Gravel/Snow Coilovers — BMW 3 SERIES F80 M3 (Modified Rear Integrated) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2014-2018

An F80 M3 on gravel or snow is fighting its own weight transfer before the surface even enters the equation – the S55’s torque arrives faster than the standard dampers were ever asked to control on loose ground. The Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover is built around longer front and rear travel specifically so the chassis has somewhere to put that movement instead of skipping across ruts and washboard.

For an F80 running the cancellation kit for its electronic damping, this is the direct swap into manual, mechanical control – no EDC fault codes, no relearning after a suspension change, just adjustable dampers doing the job the factory electronics used to.

What this coilover does for your 2014-2018 Bmw 3 Series F80 M3 (Modified Rr Integrated) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping)

The extended stroke keeps the M3’s wheels tracking the ground through compressions and rally-style crests rather than topping or bottoming against their limits. A larger reservoir of suspension oil and nitrogen gas behind those 3 adjustment knobs means the shock has more thermal mass to work with, so oil temperature stays controlled over a full stage or a long track session instead of spiking and fading. That matters on the F80 specifically, because the M3’s mass shifts hard under braking and direction change, and a damper that holds its valving consistent as it heats up is what keeps the rear axle predictable rather than vague. You get three-way adjustment to bias the setup toward loose-surface compliance or firmer circuit response, without swapping hardware.

About the Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover

This damper is built for rally and rallycross use, where sustained abuse on loose surfaces is the baseline rather than the exception. The longer front and rear travel gives the car a bigger buffer before it runs out of suspension, which is what keeps a heavy, powerful chassis like the M3’s stable when the ground stops being flat. The increased oil and nitrogen gas volume is the core of the design – more fluid to absorb heat means the shock resists the oil breakdown that comes from prolonged hard use, so damping characteristics stay consistent lap after stage rather than softening off. The three adjustment knobs use a small oil hole passage design; driving over larger bumps can produce a minor noise through that passage as oil moves through the restriction. That’s an expected characteristic of the design, not a fault, and on circuit tracks specifically there’s no bump-noise concern at all given the smoother surface.

Fitment for the Bmw 3 Series F80 M3 (Modified Rr Integrated) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) (2014-2018)

Built for the F80-generation M3, chassis code BM104-C, covering the 2014 to 2018 production run. This variant integrates the modified rear and includes the cancellation kit for electronic damping, replacing the factory EDC control so the coilover runs as a fully mechanical, manually adjustable setup with no electronic conflicts.

Spec your F80 M3’s Pro Racing Gravel/Snow setup to match the surface you’re actually driving on – configure yours below.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. With longer travel for both front and rear, it increases bigger buffer distance to keep the car stable. The most advantages of this product is to extend the amount of suspension oil and nitrogen gas which can increase the stability of the shocks and prevent the shock oil temperature too high from being exhausted after long-term use.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.

Top mounts included with your kit

Every XYZ Racing coilover kit ships with the upper mounts listed below for your exact chassis — no extra parts to source.

Front

  • Pillow ball + rubber top mountPillow ball + rubberP+Pillow-ball upper with a rubber insert — adds steering precision and camber adjustability while keeping some of the factory mount’s harshness damping.
  • Hardened rubber top mountHardened rubberRHardened rubber upper — firmer than the factory bush for tighter response while retaining road-friendly noise and vibration isolation.

Rear

  • Aluminium top mountAluminiumAAluminium upper mount — a stiff, lightweight housing that locates the damper precisely and resists flex under load.
