XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — BMW 3 SERIES F80 M3 (Modified Rear Integrated) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2014-2018

The F80 M3’s adaptive M dampers are built to hold a line, not to let the rear step out on command – which is the opposite of what a drift car needs. Swapping to a fixed-rate coilover system removes that factory logic entirely, and the cancellation kit means the S55’s electronics stop hunting for a damper signal that no longer exists. What’s left is a chassis you can set up specifically for controlled oversteer.

This Drift Spec kit is built around that one job: getting the F80 M3’s body to load predictably as you initiate, hold angle, and transition. The 431bhp twin-turbo S55 already sends enough torque to break traction on demand; the coilovers are what decide whether that translates into a clean, catchable slide or a snap you’re fighting to correct.

What this coilover does for your 2014-2018 Bmw 3 Series F80 M3 (modified Rr Integrated) (cancellation Kit For Electronic Damping)

Drop the ride height with proper bump stroke retained and the F80’s roll centre and body control change together, rather than one outpacing the other mid-transition. That matters on a chassis this heavy at the point of weight transfer, where poor bump control turns a lock-up into a spin instead of a recoverable slide. The stiffer, fixed-rate setup stabilises the body through high-speed direction changes, so the car holds a chosen angle instead of wandering through it. With the electronic damping cancelled out, there’s no adaptive system softening or firming the ride mid-corner against your intentions – the response you build into the setup is the response you get, corner after corner. For a rear-driven chassis running this much power, that consistency is what turns big drift angles from a fluke into something you can repeat.

About the Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing built this range specifically for drift, rather than adapting a track-day coilover to the job. The design is aimed squarely at stabilising the body during high-speed turn-in so the car settles into a clean angle instead of snapping unpredictably. Ride height comes down with the bump stroke properly accounted for, which is what lets the reduction in height actually improve control instead of just looking lower. That combination – controlled drop, retained stroke, a spring and damping setup tuned for sustained slip angle rather than outright grip – is what XYZ Racing means by drift control being brought to "excellent condition." It’s a deliberately different design brief from a Sport or Track Sport coilover, which are tuned to resist exactly the kind of rotation this kit is built to produce.

Fitment for the Bmw 3 Series F80 M3 (2014-2018)

Confirmed for the BM104-C chassis code covering the F80-generation BMW 3 Series M3, model years 2014 to 2018. This listing includes the modified rear integration for the cancellation kit, which disables the factory electronic damping signal so the fixed-rate Drift Spec setup runs without the car’s adaptive suspension electronics interfering.

This suspension is designed for Drift race especially. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowing the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.
