XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — BMW 3 SERIES F34 4/6 CYL (excl. M-Technik. xDrive & EDC) 2013-2026

The F34 Gran Turismo carries more weight over its rear axle than the F30 saloon it’s built from – a longer wheelbase and a liftback tail add mass exactly where a drift car needs to manage load transfer under power. XYZ Racing’s Drift Spec coilover is built around that reality, giving the rear-wheel-drive 4 and 6-cylinder BMW 3 Series F34 a suspension setup tuned specifically for sustained, controlled oversteer rather than outright grip.

This is a coilover for competitive drifting, not fast-road comfort. It’s set up to control body roll and weight transfer through the entry-to-mid-corner transition so the rear axle breaks away predictably instead of snapping, and it lets you run a ride height low enough to shift the car’s centre of gravity without running out of usable bump stroke.

What this coilover does for your 2013-2026 Bmw 3 Series F34

On a car this size, keeping the rear planted through a drift entry is half the battle – the extended GT bodyshell means more inertia to manage once the tail steps out. This kit is built to hold the chassis flat as you move from throttle-off rotation into sustained angle, so the back end stays where you put it instead of continuing to swing wide. Because the fitment excludes xDrive cars, every kit here is matched to the RWD-only F34’s actual weight balance rather than a compromise spec shared with an all-wheel-drive variant. Lowering the ride height with the correct bump stroke setting changes how quickly the rear steps out and how much steering lock you need to hold the angle – that’s the actual point of a drift-specific setup, not just a lower stance. Excluding EDC-equipped cars also means the valving doesn’t have to work around factory electronic damping, so it’s set up for direct, repeatable manual adjustment instead.

About the Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing built the Drift Spec range specifically for drift competition rather than adapting a track-day product for the job. Spring rate and valving are set to stabilise the body through high-speed direction changes, so the car holds a clean, consistent angle instead of wandering mid-slide. Ride height is designed to come down while keeping proper bump stroke in reserve, which is what actually lets a driver control the angle rather than just running the car low. That combination – a predictable, controllable rear end at extreme yaw – is the whole brief for this type, and it’s why the spec differs from XYZ’s road and circuit-focused coilover ranges for the same chassis.

Fitment for the Bmw 3 Series F34 (2013-2026)

This kit fits the F34-chassis BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo, 4 and 6-cylinder engines, across the 2013 to 2026 model years. It covers the standard RWD chassis only – M-Technik, xDrive and EDC-equipped cars fall outside this fitment, since the M-Technik geometry, xDrive drivetrain and electronic damping hardware all change what a correctly matched coilover needs to be.

This suspension is designed for Drift race especially. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowing the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.
