XYZ Racing Tarmac Rally Coilovers — BMW 3 SERIES F34 4/6 CYL (excl. M-Technik. xDrive & EDC) 2013-2026

The BMW 3 Series F34 Gran Turismo carries more weight over its rear axle than the saloon it’s built from, and on a rough tarmac stage that extra mass keeps moving after the chassis has already changed direction. XYZ Racing’s Tarmac Rally coilover is built to keep it in check, controlling that trailing weight through compressions, crests and blind brows instead of letting it arrive late.

This is a sealed-stage tarmac rally spec, not a fast-road or circuit tune: damping and spring rates are set to absorb the surface changes a stage throws up – broken tarmac, mid-corner camber shifts, an unmarked pothole – while keeping the front axle loaded enough to hold a line under power. It’s built for 4- and 6-cylinder F34s from 2013 to 2026 running the standard, non-adaptive suspension – no M-Technik, no xDrive, no EDC.

What this coilover does for your 2013-2026 BMW 3 Series F34

On a rough, cambered stage, the biggest threat to pace is a wheel that’s still unloading when the next corner arrives – lose contact after a compression and you lose the apex with it. This coilover’s stage-tuned damping absorbs the big hits without kicking the body back upright, so the tyre stays pressed into the road through the transition instead of skipping across it. That control carries into the F34’s own habit of running wide under trail-braking into slow corners, where the Gran Turismo’s extra body weight likes to keep the nose pushing on; a firmer, consistent spring rate holds the front down and lets you get back on the power sooner. Through fast, flowing sections the standard suspension would let float, the car settles and holds its line instead.

About the Tarmac Rally coilover

XYZ Racing’s Tarmac Rally coilover is a damper built around the demands of closed-road, sealed-stage events, where the surface changes metre to metre and there’s no second look at a compression before you’re through it. Valving is calibrated to absorb sharp, high-frequency impacts – patched tarmac, ridges, unmarked bumps – without transmitting that shock straight into the body, so the chassis stays settled instead of getting kicked off line. The same tuning keeps the tyre loaded through the hit, which is what actually puts traction on the road once a stage surface turns rough, and it’s this that underpins the stability to commit to a line rather than back off for the unknown. None of it is generic road calibration – every setting on this spec comes from XYZ Racing’s own tarmac rally programme, refined stage by stage.

Fitment for the BMW 3 Series F34 (2013-2026)

Built for the BMW 3 Series F34 – chassis code BM75-10 – across 4- and 6-cylinder engine variants from 2013 to 2026. This spec covers cars running the standard suspension only: F34s fitted with M-Technik suspension, xDrive four-wheel drive, or EDC electronic damper control fall outside this listing and need a different mounting and valving spec.
