XYZ Racing Circuit Master Coilovers — BMW 3 SERIES E90 M3 (Modified Rear Integrated) 2007-2011

The E90 M3’s S65 V8 sits low and further back in the nose than any four-cylinder 3 Series, and that extra mass over the front axle changes how the car loads under trail-braking into a fast corner. Standard dampers were never calibrated around the V8’s weight distribution or the rear geometry that BMW carried over with modifications specific to the M3 – which is exactly why this fitment uses a modified, rear-integrated mount rather than the stock item.

The Circuit Master kit is XYZ Racing’s dedicated circuit line, built for cars that see repeated hot laps rather than the occasional track day. On an E90 M3 that means damping firm enough to control the V8’s extra front-end mass through fast direction changes, without turning the rear axle nervous when you’re back on the throttle out of a slow corner.

What this coilover does for your 2007-2011 BMW 3 Series E90 M3 (Modified Rr Integrated)

Fitted to this chassis, the Circuit Master keeps the nose settled under braking into apex, where the S65’s forward weight bias otherwise pushes the front tyres wide. The independently adjustable damping lets you firm up compression on corner entry to fight that push, then back off rebound at the rear so the axle stays planted through the transition instead of skipping over kerbs. Because adjustment is handled through separate knobs rather than a single dial, you can bias the setup toward front grip for a technical circuit or toward rear traction for a faster, flowing one – useful on an M3 that behaves differently depending on how much of that V8’s weight is loaded onto the front tyres at any given moment. The result on the E90 M3 is a car that turns in with less of the nose-heavy resistance the standard suspension allows, without sacrificing the composure you need for a full session of laps back to back.

About the Circuit Master coilover

Circuit Master sits at the top of XYZ Racing’s range and is aimed squarely at cars that live on a circuit, not just a fast road. The damper uses three separate adjustment knobs feeding a total of 9,720 possible combinations, giving a far finer window for tuning than a single-adjustable unit – useful when you’re chasing a specific balance change rather than a generic "firmer" or "softer" setting. XYZ’s racing teams have run this damper internationally, developing it under the kind of sustained, high-load conditions that a fast road car never sees. Because the internals route oil through a smaller passage to support that adjustment range, you may notice a faint noise from the damper over sharp bumps and kerbs; this is a normal characteristic of the design and not a fault, and it’s a trade-off the kit accepts because kerb strikes at circuit pace are exactly what it’s built to shrug off rather than avoid.

Fitment for the BMW 3 Series E90 M3 (Modified Rr Integrated) (2007-2011)

This kit is built for the BMW 3 Series E90 M3, chassis code BM89, across the 2007-2011 production run, with the modified rear-integrated mount design that this M3 variant requires rather than the standard 3 Series rear fitting. Confirm your car sits within this year range and uses the M3-specific rear mounting before ordering, as the standard E90/E91/E92/E93 four-cylinder cars use a different rear interface.
