XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — BMW 1 SERIES F20 4/6 CYL (excl. M-Technik. xDrive & EDC) 2010-2026

The F20 1 Series carries its weight low and rearward for a hatchback, and on a rear-drive chassis that means the back end steps out predictably once you know where to find it – exactly the trait a drift setup wants to exploit rather than fight. The XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover is built around that behaviour: control the transition into slide, hold the angle, and let the driver do the rest.

This is not a fast-road compromise dressed up with a drift badge. It is a dedicated setup for the F20 4/6-cylinder cars (excluding M-Technik, xDrive and EDC-equipped models), tuned so the chassis stays composed at the steering and throttle inputs that competitive drifting actually demands.

What this coilover does for your 2010-2026 Bmw 1 Series

Lower the ride height correctly and the F20’s roll centre and bump stroke start working together instead of against each other, which is where drift cars find consistent, repeatable angle rather than a car that snaps unpredictably mid-transition. The 3-way adjustment on this kit lets you separate compression and rebound control at each corner, so you can firm up the rear for faster weight transfer into a slide while keeping the front planted enough to catch the correction. Because the internals route oil through a small-passage design at each knob, the damping response stays consistent even as you cycle the suspension hard and repeatedly through big inputs – the kind of use a circuit-based drift session puts a car through lap after lap of practice runs. Owners running this on the F20’s chassis will feel the difference most in how the rear axle loads and unloads through a committed turn-in, rather than in outright ride comfort.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing engineered this line specifically for drift competition rather than adapting a road or circuit-lapping coilover to the job. The design brief centres on stabilising the car’s body through high-speed direction changes, so the driver can hold a clean, consistent angle instead of correcting for chassis movement. Once the ride height is set with the correct bump stroke, the improvement in drift control becomes obvious compared with a standard fast-road setup. Each corner uses a 3-knob adjustment arrangement built around a small oil-hole passage; under hard, repeated bump inputs this can produce a faint noise as oil moves through the restriction, which is a normal characteristic of the design rather than a fault. The kit is built with circuit and track use in mind, so surface irregularities and kerbs on a drift track are within its intended operating range.

Fitment for the Bmw 1 Series F20 4/6 CYL (excl. M-Technik. xDrive & EDC) (2010-2026)

This kit is specced for the F20-generation 1 Series (chassis code BM75-5), covering both 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder variants across the 2010-2026 range. It excludes M-Technik, xDrive and EDC-equipped cars, whose factory suspension geometry and electronic damping control fall outside this kit’s design parameters – check your exact spec against these exclusions before ordering.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
