XYZ Racing Pro Racing Gravel/Snow Coilovers — Audi TT RS 8S 4WD φ55 (Modified Rear Integrated) 2015-2026

The TT RS 8S puts a 400bhp five-cylinder over a Haldex 4WD system never designed with rally-spec suspension travel in mind, and that’s the gap this coilover is built to close. On loose surfaces the factory geometry runs out of usable travel long before the tyres run out of grip, so the car skips and deflects instead of tracking. The Pro Racing Gravel/Snow kit gives the 8S the front and rear wheel travel a gravel stage or snow-covered circuit actually demands.

This is a rally-cross-oriented build rather than a tarmac track kit, and it shows in how the TT RS settles over compressions and crests where a shorter-travel coilover would bottom out or unload the rear axle mid-corner. For an Audi that already sends drive to all four corners, keeping the dampers working through big vertical movement matters more than outright stiffness.

What this coilover does for your 2015-2026 Audi TT RS

Longer front and rear travel gives the 8S a bigger buffer zone before the suspension tops or bottoms out, which is exactly what repeated gravel-stage hits and snow ruts punish first. The extended internal volume of suspension oil and nitrogen gas is the more important spec here: it lets the damper run longer stints without the oil temperature climbing to the point where the shock loses consistency, a real risk on a car this heavy once the surface gets rough. Three external adjustment knobs let you retune compression and rebound between a snow-covered rally cross and a rutted gravel stage without swapping hardware. Expect the modified rear-integrated mounting to keep the Haldex-driven rear axle loading predictably even as travel increases, which is what actually lets a 4WD platform like this put power down on loose surfaces instead of just deflecting.

About the Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover

XYZ built this damper specifically around rally and rally-cross use rather than adapting a tarmac design. The extended oil and nitrogen capacity is the core engineering decision: more fluid volume means more thermal headroom, so the shock resists the oil-temperature spikes that come from sustained hard use on a stage rather than short circuit bursts. The three-knob adjustment layout uses a small-oil-hole design that trades a bit of mechanical quietness for that fine-grained control – some minor noise over big hitting bumps is a known, expected characteristic of this valving, not a fault. Front and rear travel is extended over a standard circuit coilover to give the chassis somewhere to go when the surface doesn’t stay flat. None of this is aimed at a smooth tarmac apex; it’s built for the terrain where wheel travel and thermal stability decide whether the car stays composed.

Fitment for the Audi TT RS 8S 4WD Φ55 (modified Rr Integrated) (2015-2026)

Built for the Audi TT RS 8S chassis (chassis code AU58-1) covering model years 2015 to 2026, in the 4WD φ55 configuration with the modified rear-integrated mounting specification. Confirm your TT RS matches this rear mounting variant before ordering, as the integrated rear design is specific to this fitment.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. With longer travel for both front and rear, it increases bigger buffer distance to keep the car stable. The most advantages of this product is to extend the amount of suspension oil and nitrogen gas which can increase the stability of the shocks and prevent the shock oil temperature too high from being exhausted after long-term use.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
