XYZ Racing Racing Spec Coilovers — Audi TT RS 8S 4WD φ55 (Modified Rear Integrated) 2015-2026

The 8S TT RS puts 400bhp through a quattro system that hauls hard off every apex, and on a fast circuit lap that load transfers through the rear axle fast enough to expose a stock damper in seconds. XYZ Racing’s Racing Spec coilover is the response: a track-focused platform built around settings pulled from real circuit competition, not a road kit with firmer springs bolted on.

For a TT RS running regular trackdays or time-attack sessions, this is the spec that keeps the quattro platform’s weight transfer under control lap after lap without the damper losing composure once the tyres and brakes are working hard.

What this coilover does for your 2015-2026 Audi TT RS

The 8S’s all-wheel-drive layout puts more mass over the front axle than a rear-drive coupe, and under trail-braking into a corner that mass wants to keep travelling straight. A monotube-based Racing Spec damper resists this by holding its damping curve consistent through repeated heat cycles, so the front end keeps loading the outside tyre the same way on lap ten as it did on lap one. The rear-integrated modification on this particular kit accounts for the TT RS’s specific rear suspension geometry, which matters on a chassis where the standard rear end wasn’t designed around a coilover’s spring perch and damper travel. Ride height is adjustable independently of spring preload, so corner weights can be set properly once the car’s on scales rather than guessed at. The result on track is a car that turns in with less of the nose-push the TT RS is known for on standard suspension, and a rear axle that stays settled under power out of slow corners.

About the Racing Spec coilover

XYZ Racing developed the Racing Spec range directly from its involvement in circuit competition, including WTCC, and the damping settings on this kit reflect that background rather than a generic fast-road tune. Construction follows the monotube layout used across the range for consistent oil control under sustained track use, with ride height and damping adjustment built into the shock body. Because the TT RS is a genuinely quick all-wheel-drive platform, XYZ also offers a custom shock absorber route for cars carrying further upgrades – if you’re running additional power, aero, or wider tyres and can tell them what circuit you’re targeting, they’ll build a damper around that spec rather than the standard off-the-shelf valving. As supplied, this Racing Spec kit is aimed squarely at cars doing serious lapping rather than commuting duty, with a firmer overall character than the Super Sport or Circuit Master lines in the XYZ range.

Fitment for the Audi TT RS (2015-2026)

This kit is built for the Audi TT RS 8S 4WD, chassis code AU58-1, covering the 2015 to 2026 model years, with the rear suspension modified to integrate the coilover properly into the TT RS’s standard rear geometry. Confirm your TT RS is the 8S generation before ordering, as earlier TT RS variants use a different chassis and are not covered by this fitment.
