XYZ Racing Pro Racing Gravel/Snow Coilovers — Nissan SILVIA S14 1995-1997

For gravel stages and loose-surface work in an S14, the suspension problem is rarely grip on smooth tarmac – it is keeping the SR20DET-powered chassis composed when the road surface stops being a road. The XYZ Racing Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover for the Nissan Silvia S14 is built around that exact need: long travel, deep oil and gas reserves, and damping that survives a full stage rather than a single corner.

The S14’s longer wheelbase and balanced front-engine, rear-drive layout already make it a forgiving base for sideways and low-grip driving, which is why owners keep these cars alive for rally, rallycross and gravel use in 2026. This kit leans into that, giving the chassis the wheel travel and thermal headroom it needs once the surface turns to dirt, snow or broken tarmac.

What this coilover does for your 1995-1997 Nissan Silvia S14

The extended front and rear travel gives the S14 a larger buffer over ruts, jumps and compressions, so the car stays settled instead of crashing through its stroke on rough ground. The bigger oil and nitrogen volume keeps damping consistent deep into a stage, where a road-biased shock would fade as the oil temperature climbs. With three adjustment knobs you can tune bump and rebound to match a fast gravel stage versus a tight snow section, then back the rates off for the road. The result is an S14 that puts power down on a surface that constantly moves under it, with predictable rotation rather than nervous snap.

About the Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover

This is a rally and rallycross damper first and foremost, not a circuit-only setup. XYZ Racing has extended the suspension stroke front and rear to increase the buffer distance that keeps the car stable over big hits, and enlarged the oil and nitrogen gas capacity so the shock resists overheating and oil breakdown through long, repeated use. The three adjustment knobs run a small oil-hole design: over large bumps the oil passes through that narrow passage, which can produce a faint noise. That is normal behaviour for this construction and not a fault. The whole package is aimed at loose, demanding surfaces where ground clearance, travel and heat management matter more than the last millimetre of tarmac body control.

Fitment for the Nissan Silvia S14 (1995-1997)

This kit is specified for the S14 chassis Nissan Silvia across the 1995 to 1997 build span. It fits the standard S14 strut and rear arrangement, so confirm your car is the S14 platform before ordering. The Pro Racing Gravel/Snow spec is the loose-surface variant in the XYZ Racing S14 range.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. With longer travel for both front and rear, it increases bigger buffer distance to keep the car stable. The most advantages of this product is to extend the amount of suspension oil and nitrogen gas which can increase the stability of the shocks and prevent the shock oil temperature too high from being exhausted after long-term use.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.

  • Hardened rubber top mountHardened rubberRHardened rubber upper — firmer than the factory bush for tighter response while retaining road-friendly noise and vibration isolation.

Rear

  • Aluminium top mountAluminiumAAluminium upper mount — a stiff, lightweight housing that locates the damper precisely and resists flex under load.
