XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Nissan SILVIA S14 1995-1997

The S14 Silvia earned its reputation on lock and balance: a longer wheelbase than the S13, a rear multi-link that telegraphs grip clearly, and the SR20DET sitting behind the front axle for a weight bias that wants to rotate the moment you provoke it. The Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover is built for exactly that brief – holding a sustained, controllable angle rather than chasing a fast-road ride.

This is a competition-focused kit for the 1995-1997 Nissan Silvia S14, set up around the demands of sliding a car at speed: stabilising the body mid-corner so the slide stays predictable, and letting you set ride height and stroke for the way you actually drift. It is a circuit and competition tool first, not a comfort-led lowering kit.

What this coilover kit does for your 1995-1997 Nissan Silvia S14

Drop the S14 onto these coilovers and the first thing you feel is a body that settles faster as you load it into the corner, which keeps the rear hooked up and the transition cleaner. The damping is set to control weight transfer through a slide, so the car holds its line as you feed in lock instead of snapping or washing out. Lowering the ride height with the correct bump stroke tightens the geometry the S14 relies on for steering angle and front grip on turn-in. The three independent adjustment knobs let you tune the front and rear behaviour separately, so you can balance initiation against mid-slide stability for your driving style and the surface you are on. The result is a chassis that does what your hands and right foot ask, consistently, through long sustained slides.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

The Pro Racing Drift Spec is engineered specifically for drift competition rather than adapted from a road kit. Its core job is to stabilise the body during high-speed cornering so the driver can set and hold a clean angle, and to extend drifting performance once the car is lowered with the correct bump stroke dialled in. Damping is governed by three adjustment knobs, giving separate control over the kit’s behaviour so you can fine-tune the car to the track and conditions. The design uses a small oil-hole passage in the valving; over large bumps the oil is forced through that restricted passage, which can produce a faint noise. This is normal and a consequence of the competition-oriented internals – the kit is intended for circuit surfaces where large road-style bumps are not a concern. In short, it trades everyday refinement for the body control and adjustability a drift car actually needs.

Fitment for the Nissan Silvia S14 (1995-1997)

This kit is matched to the Nissan Silvia S14 chassis across the 1995-1997 model years. It suits the rear-drive S14 platform and its SR20DET-era running gear. Confirm your chassis code and year against the listing before configuring, as S14 specifications shifted across the production run.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.

  • Hardened rubber top mountHardened rubberRHardened rubber upper — firmer than the factory bush for tighter response while retaining road-friendly noise and vibration isolation.

Rear

  • Aluminium top mountAluminiumAAluminium upper mount — a stiff, lightweight housing that locates the damper precisely and resists flex under load.
