Caliper render for this kit:

Brake load on the Estima MCR30 lands hardest at the rear when the cabin is full and the road tips downhill. A people carrier of this size asks its back axle to manage heat and mass that a hatchback never will, and the factory rear setup was specified for gentle family duty rather than a run of hard stops. This XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit for the Toyota Estima MCR30 (2000-2005) replaces that compromise with hardware built to shed heat and hold a firm pedal.
It is a rear-axle kit, a pair of rear calipers and rear discs, so it complements a front upgrade or restores balance on a van that spends much of its life heavily laden. The two-piece floating disc design is the headline: less rotating mass to slow, and more capacity to release heat between stops.
What this rear brake kit does for your 2000-2005 Toyota Estima MCR30
The first thing you feel is a rear end that stops giving in to fade. The vented two-piece discs carry heat away from the friction surface faster than a solid casting, so the pedal stays consistent down a long descent or after a string of motorway stops with every seat occupied. Trimming unsprung and rotating mass at the rear also takes a little work off the dampers, which helps the Estima settle over broken surfaces. Pad compound is your call: the Street option stays quiet and low-dust for daily school runs, the Sport compound adds bite and heat range for harder road use, and the Racing compound is there if you genuinely lean on the brakes. Painted caliper finishes in Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black come at no extra cost, with a Custom Color in any Pantone and premium polished and candy finishes if you want the upgrade to read as deliberate behind the rear wheels.
About the Hollow Rear Brake Kit
The Hollow Rear Brake Kit takes its name from the hollow-body caliper fitted as standard, cast with internal voids to cut weight at the corner without losing stiffness. Instead of a solid disc face, the rotor is a vented two-piece floating design, lightened to move heat out of the braking surface quickly, which is the single biggest factor in resisting fade on a heavy vehicle. Lower rotating mass gives the brakes less inertia to overcome on every stop, and it removes weight from one of the most useful places on the car. The kit pairs those discs with a choice of three pad compounds, Street, Sport and Racing, so the same hardware suits a quiet daily Estima or one worked far harder. Discs come drilled or slotted at the same price, with centre-bell upgrades in five anodized colours or titanium, and serious track users can step up to the Hollow Racing caliper, rated to 1000C and warrantied for two years. Each part is sized for the rear axle of this platform, keeping front-to-rear balance sensible rather than overbraking one end.
Fitment for the Toyota Estima MCR30 (2000-2005)
This kit is specified for the MCR30-chassis Toyota Estima built from 2000 to 2005 and mounts to the rear axle as a left-and-right pair. Confirm your chassis code reads MCR30 before ordering, as the Estima ran across several platform codes in this era and rear brake hardware is platform-specific.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
