Caliper render for this kit:

At a kerb weight nudging two and a half tonnes, the Rolls-Royce Ghost asks more of its rear brakes than almost any saloon on the road, and it demands that they do their work in near silence. The XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit for the 2010-2020 Ghost adds thermal capacity and rear-axle bite without disturbing the effortless refinement the car is built around.
This is a rear-axle upgrade, fitted as a matched pair, aimed at owners who use their Ghost the way it was intended: long, fast, fully-laden miles where the brakes are repeatedly hauling down serious mass from motorway speeds. The two-piece floating disc sheds rotating weight and lets the rear discs run cooler, so the pedal holds its feel after a sustained run of heavy stops rather than going long and soft.
What this big brake kit does for your 2010-2020 Rolls-Royce Ghost
On a car this heavy, the rear axle carries more of the braking workload than most drivers realise, and that is where this kit earns its place. Fit it to your 2010-2020 Rolls-Royce Ghost and the first thing you feel is a firmer, more progressive pedal that keeps its travel even with the car fully loaded. The two-piece floating discs run cooler, which holds off fade on long descents and repeated high-speed stops. Three pad compounds – Street, Sport and Racing – let you match the rear axle to how you actually drive, from quiet town work to harder, faster use. And with calipers offered in Red, Yellow, Gold, Black or Anodized Black at no extra cost, with a Pantone Custom Color for £150, the upgrade can sit hidden behind the wheels or read as a discreet signature.
About the Hollow big brake kit
The XYZ Racing Hollow rear kit is built around its namesake two-piece floating discs, a construction that removes metal from the rotor itself to cut unsprung weight and open up internal paths for heat to escape, the floating mount letting the rotor expand under heat without coning. Less rotating mass at the rear axle means the brakes respond more quickly and recover faster between applications, which matters on a car that carries as much momentum as the Ghost. The kit is offered with three distinct pad compounds: a Street compound for a refinement-first replacement, a Sport compound for firmer everyday bite, and a Racing compound for the hardest use. Disc faces come drilled or slotted at the same price, and the centre bell can be upgraded to a two-tone anodized finish in five colours or to titanium. Caliper bodies come in five included finishes – Red, Yellow, Gold, Black or Anodized Black – with a Pantone Custom Color for £150 and premium options alongside, so the look can be matched to the car’s specification. An optional Hollow Racing caliper – no dust cover, rated to 1000C, two-year warranty – is there for the hardest use. It is a bolt-on rear-axle package designed to add stopping performance and heat management while preserving the quiet, judder-free braking a Rolls-Royce owner expects.
Fitment for the Rolls-Royce Ghost (2010-2020)
This kit is configured for the Rolls-Royce Ghost across the full 2010 to 2020 production run, covering the first-generation car. It is a rear-position fitment that pairs with the standard Ghost hub and wheel package. Confirm your build year and wheel specification against the options above before ordering so the disc and caliper sizing clears your setup.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
